Expert customer service My sales person was courteous and patient and that is exactly what I needed due to my delicate credit situation. I arrived expecting just to see what my options were and also expecting a 17% interest rate due to my credit. At the end of the day I left with a great car and a much lower rate then expected. I asked m EXPECT TO PAY FOR THE REPAIRS AFTER YOU BUY A USED CAR I bought my used Acura TL and the next day i noticed that the alignment was off. I asked my salesmen if we could get it fixed and he pretty much said they wont work on cars after you have signed. It wasn't until after I went and left reviews of my experience that they offered to get it taken care of and correct the alignment. So i go to get the alignment sorted out and they fixed that but it still pulled to the right and they said that it was because the tires were damaged due to the alignment being off. I called the manager there and told him what the situation was and he said that all they could do is give me a discount but that I would have to buy new tires myself. Instead of doing right by the customer, they will just hope that you go away. Im not a vengeful person, but i wanted to buy a car that was working as it should and they aren't willing to correct problems that they had no problem selling to me. More
A Zero Star Dealership I visited 7 dealerships in my search for a hybrid vehicle. Stockton 12 was my only negative experience. When the salesperson asked if he could help, I I visited 7 dealerships in my search for a hybrid vehicle. Stockton 12 was my only negative experience. When the salesperson asked if he could help, I told him immediately that I wanted to look at hybrid vehicles. I made it clear that I was shopping around for a hybrid and had no intention of purchasing a car that day. He dragged us into the dealership and tried to get me to give him the keys to my car so someone could assess it's value for a trade-in. After wasting my time for about a half hour, he finally disappeared for a few minutes (I thought to get a key.) and then took us out to the lot. (At every other dealership I visited I was in a car within 5-10 minutes.) He walked us around the car for 5-10 minutes, and when I finally climbed in and asked how to start it, he said he didn't have a key. At that point I left. I am still getting calls, text messages, and emails from Stockton 12. I would strongly caution single women to avoid this place. I had a male friend who is knowledgeable about cars with me, and I still felt like the salesperson was trying to take advantage of me. If you are looking for a Honda, I would recommend the Bountiful dealership. More
USED CAR BUYERS BEWARE!! I bought an 06 Acura TL from Alex there and everything seemed to go fine. We took the test drive and looked at a few other cars but decided we liked the TL and my wife and I were very happy with the deal that we got. We signed everything and were on our way home when I noticed that the car had a little pull to the right and that the alignment was off. I shot Alex a text the next day to see if we could get that tweaked and I pretty much got the answer "It's yours now and we're not doing anything with it". He told me that if there was anything wrong with it in the ensuing days that I could come to him and he could see what we could do for me. APPARENTLY they will say anything to get a sale done and then they just back away without any help. Thats just bad business if you ask me. Beware of what Alex tells you and beware of buying a used car from Stockton 12 Honda!! More
Not Worth My Time Walked in only wanting to get an idea for cars in our price range. We kept being shown cars way above our price range and we kept saying no but he di Walked in only wanting to get an idea for cars in our price range. We kept being shown cars way above our price range and we kept saying no but he didn't listen. Then when we finally found a car that was a MAYBE the salesman pressured us so much into buying it. They lowered the price quite a bit and it seemed like a great deal. When I took the car out for a drive one of the belts in the vent made a rattling noise that didn't stop. We signed a document that said they would fix that for us, but was never given that signed paperwork. When I tried to go in to get it fixed they wouldn't do anything, and said they had no paperwork for it. And I have had the car for one month and had to buy a new battery and the heat rarely ever works, and they never fixed the vent. Overall... if I hadn't signed up to use their services for oil changes... I would NEVER step foot in that place again. FIVE HOURS we were at this dealership. Should have just kept my trade in and fixed the transmission myself never would have had all the issues I have with this car. More

the dreaded car buying necessity. I have never liked the car buying experience. I don't like the pressure tactics or the bait and switch. I don't like going into a little room where they try to "up sell" and tack on a bunch of extras for a bunch of dollars.. even after you and the salesman have decided on a final price. Someday I hope we get to a point where you can walk in and have the best price possible is listed right on the car.... Out the door price. nothing more...nothing less. But, after buying cars for over 40 years... this experience was the best I have had to date. Thank you CJ for doing everything you could to expedite my experience. More
