The sales associate, never bothered learning his name, treated me like crap the entire time. Talked down to me like I wouldn't understand anything he was saying, very rude and condescending. He insulted my husband as well on numerous occasions while we were there. His tactic, was to try to make us feel stupid, so we would blindly trust him and not question the information he gave us. Little did he know that we've been researching to buy for over 8 months, and knew he was full of crap. He wasn't even in the ball park with our trade in value. Without even looking at our car, he already deemed it mediocre and was well under the value for a trade, and wouldn't listen to anything we said. He wouldn't answer any questions or points we brought up. Just continued to get more agitated and rude because we weren't playing his game. Got so bad, we asked for our keys so we could leave. He didn't listen. We asked again, still wouldn't listen. We had to get up and start walking out to get our keys back. We sat in our car out front for about 20 minutes discussing what we planned on doing next, when he came out to our car, to hand us back our registration. There is absolutely NO reason for them to have that. All that was needed was the vin number, and they didn't even need to enter our car to get that. They went through our personal belongings to find our registration, violating our privacy rights might I add, and removed it from our car even. If we hadn't been sitting there, our registration would still be with them. From the way we were treated, the unprofessionalism, and the fact they went through our personal stuff, when there was never a need and quit frankly had no right to do, I would rather spend more money some place else then ever step foot there again. I would like to think this was an isolated event, but I found out, that my sister had a very similar experience. And surprise, it was the same sales associate. He treated them worse then us. They showed up with their youngest son, planning on test driving a pilot or odyssey. He refused to even let them test drive the odyssey or the pilot, because in his words "you would never be able to afford either of those" and tried to take them to the crap cars. Without even knowing anything about them or their finances, he automatically assumed they weren't worth the time and effort. Then he went so far to telling my sister, she wouldn't understand financial terms or what he was saying so he would only talk to her husband. Avoid this dealership, in fact, avoid any associated with Larry h millar. This is the 3rd time I've tried a dealership in the Larry h millar realm, and everytime they have tried to pull this kind of crap. Update: the sales associate actually tried to call me today, wow! His name is Cris. And after reading other reviews, looks like a lot of the unhappy customers mention his name. Might want to look into that Stockton 12! He's loosing you a lot of business. More
