My previous experiences with Autonation Ford Union City have been bad and I will say that this experience was normal. Worst ever! !! #1 don’t take cars until you actually have someone that can look at it and give an estimate. I don’t approve of my car being held hostage. #2 after my car sat for five days they read the code for the check engine light and charged me $200 to do this (guess what it’s free at AutoZone) #3 then I was given an estimate to have my catalytic converter fixed which is three times the estimate of anywhere else (I was told it was because the part was new but that doesn’t really hold water) Almost $3200 at Ford, but 50 repair places around me willing to do the job for between $1231 and $1590. #4 $200 I paid does not then go to repair!!! I’ve been robbed Why would I buy a car from a place that doesn’t have a window guy a transmission guy a front end guy or basically any services? More

My previous review was not the end of my story. I was contacted by the general manager at Auto Nation In Union City Ford. He took the time on his day off to walk through the numbers with me. When expanded, there is a breakdown of the final cost which they provide the estimated or possible tax and fees. I thank the general manager for reaching out to me on his day off and taking the time to walk through the numbers and process.
