We had stopped at Stew Hansen's Dodge on our way to Stivers because we were indecisive on whether to get a Ford or Dodge. We stood in the rain walking the lot looking at trucks for around 45 minutes and no one came over to help us not even the ones who were outside moving vehicles around on the lot. We got to Stivers and were greated by Erik in the rain. He listened to all we had to say about what we were looking for. And we bought the perfect truck a 2013 Ford F-150. We decided to look at the 2016 trucks at Stivers. Erik remembered us immediately. Again, we got the red carpet rolled out for us (again it was a day filled with rain). We bought our New Ford F-150 again from the one and only Dealer who really puts customers 1st-STIVERS!!! More

Don't buy from her We purchased a car from this dealership. The credit department was horrible and they lie about things. They said we had to get protection for the car or we couldn't get loan. I know know it's illegal to make you buy one. We asked for our date to pay evey month to be after the 15th . He stated that all we had to do is call the loan company to change date. The first car we test drove the caliper on brake was only attached by one bolt. Then after seeing what we wanted we bought it. Then the credit person kept calling for us to get a new title for the trade in because they lost it. It's was bad. Never going back More

We could have gone to lots of dealers but found that Stivers in Waukee, Ia have a large selection & were eager to do business.. Our experience with their salesman Ryley SChleder was excellent... He was very helpful in explaining the features of the CUV, but also why we should do biz with Stivers... After the sale, Ryley kept in touch to make sure all of our expectations were met..( they were..) We grade our experience excelnt & will recommend Stivers & Ryley to our friends.... More
Horrible Sales and Presentation Recently purchased a brand new SUV. Our sales rep had no idea what they were doing, how to relate to us or seemed like she cared. The presentation skills when dealing with the offers was messy. They only presented 1 option on paper instead of 3. Also when trying to negotiate all season floor mats into the deal, she checked the computer for inventory, then said they had none in stock and that was that. Very rude, unpleasant experience at Stivers. Your better off going to Woodhouse. Lastly, now my brand new car is having chip card problems as well as random sensor reads while driving. More

Went Above to Connect By the time I got to Stivers, I had been to two other dealerships in the local area. We really came just to check out inventory and prices. My husban By the time I got to Stivers, I had been to two other dealerships in the local area. We really came just to check out inventory and prices. My husband and I have worked many times with a local dealer that we trust and the only reason we even looked out of town was to see if anyone else had more specifically what we were looking for and didn't see in the local inventory. I am a pretty "cut to the chase" kind of buyer. By the time we get to a purchase, we have done our homework - what we are wanting and willing to putdown/pay per month. Kyle was honest and really got down to the bottom-line and when I told him we have been uber loyal to our previous dealership and that we just were looking to see if anyone had the car we were seeking in their inventory. He stated, "Well, I've only got one shot to show you why we are the right choice." Even though I didn't really go there to purchase, he worked with their business manager to meet every bottom-line expectation that we had. Not only did they go out of their way with the purchase - they saved us so much work in the close of our currently expiring Ford lease car. (We NEVER expected that and were thinking we would have to still do all the work for the lease group Ford uses to come, inspect and return the lease that was nearly up, which our previous dealer told us we would have to do for ourselves. THEY DID ALL OF THIS FOR US ---- WITHOUT US ASKING THEM! Now, that is above and beyond!) The last clenchers were how fast the transaction (which our experience is typically a return visit and takes many hours manually to go through) and the after sale service they told us about, wow - with an iPhone App to schedule, and hours that go from 7 AM - midnight (a big deal for us since we are an hour away). I hope all of our future interactions with them are this easy. We left the dealership --- after hours, because they stayed to complete the transaction, with a set of keys, a clean new car and a full tank of gas --- and we never expected all this, At this point, I am looking forward to working with them in the future, if they are consistent in this kind of sales and service! More
