Horrible service and follow up customer service is evenworse I brought in my CRV for a routine LOF and minor warranty work that was promised from an earlier visit (since they had to order a part). After 2 and a I brought in my CRV for a routine LOF and minor warranty work that was promised from an earlier visit (since they had to order a part). After 2 and a half hours of waiting, they said it was done. When I asked about the warranty issue they said they didn't do it and immediately took back my keys for another hour and a half of waiting. This 4 hour appointment should have taken a little more than an hour. When I emailed the service manager (Josh Wright) afterward, he asked what could be done to make things better. I wrote back with an idea. After 6 weeks, he hadn't responded, so I tried again. It's been 4 weeks since the second email with still no response. Clearly, Stirling's version of "making things better" means hiding from annoyed customers. I'm not sure that the 2 years of free routine maintenance is worth going back two more times to deal with this inept staff. (And don't get me started on the folks in scheduling...) More

Service Department Has Deteriorated I used to like and trust the service department at Stirling Honda until the last couple of years. Now I don't trust them and don't feel like the serv I used to like and trust the service department at Stirling Honda until the last couple of years. Now I don't trust them and don't feel like the service technicians are competent. One example is when they tried to offer major servicing (120k miles) when I had already had it done at least 10 - 15k miles back and it was in their system. Most recent service experience was very poor. I have 150k miles and was told I needed the equivalent of 60k, so that's what I agreed to (to the tune of $1000). Partly my fault for not doing the math, but they could read the odometer and knew that kind of service wasn't due for another 30k miles. In the course of flushing the brake fluid, the low level sensor light stuck and they insisted I would either have to live with the light always being on or pay for a new brake master cylinder. The problem occurred while the technician was working and wasn't my fault, so I don't feel it's fair for me to pay for their mistake. They finally offered to not charge for the labor if I would buy the brake master cylinder, but the amount they quoted for the part was $233 and I found the same genuine Honda part for $133 online (or $60 for a non-Honda manufactured part). There were several other things that annoyed me about the work done (or lack of finding a problem), but these are my major gripes. I won't go back to Stirling Honda! When I want to buy a new Accord, I will go elsewhere. More
Lies, hustling. Oregon buyers beware. I purchased a new Honda Accord from Stirling Honda. I have nothing bad to say about the salesman I worked with. However, they attempted to renig on the deal almost immediately by not including agreed upon options. This was of course after a verbal agreement over the phone was negotiated, and I had filled out the financing application, provided copies of my insurance and drivers license. Finally they agreed to hold up their end of the deal. Next, I mentioned that I had veteran plates that I would like transferred which would have saved me around $250. I mentioned this before making the 4 hour drive. The contract of course did not reflect that, and showed full registration. They made an attempt to call some Washington state DMV contact to get clarification who was conveniently not answering her phone and I was told those fees would be refunded either by them or the DMV. Long story short, they weren’t, so I’ll be transferring these plates to my wife’s car so I can have my plates back on this car. They also screwed up the finance rate. I was promised 0.9%, signed a contract for 0.9% and then about 4 days later called and told that they made a mistake on that, and that the rate would actually be 3.9%. I have an 840 credit score by the way. They did however make that right by essentially selling me the car for less to make up for their error on the interest rate. However, still irritating nonetheless. The most irritating part though was being lied to about the plates. Last text I received from them was stating they would be cutting me a check. That was in early February. I also called and left an irritated message after leaving the DMV in Oregon and said I expected a call back which I never received. So before you buy from out of state, beware. Do not trust this dealership to do the right thing regarding licensing and registration from another state. My wishes on that were blatantly ignored. More
