Hello. I am a student from Drake University and am studying to become a pharmacist. As of last year, I had to move to Iowa for my schooling. As a result, I have been servicing my car at this Hyundai d studying to become a pharmacist. As of last year, I had to move to Iowa for my schooling. As a result, I have been servicing my car at this Hyundai dealer for the past year. I have has MULTIPLE bad experiences with this dealership and find the service department in my hometown Hyundai to be better. The service department in the Clive location is not attentive to detail and representatives are not friendly to work with. They do not explain their services thoroughly. On top of this, they have inconvenienced me on multiple occasions. One service, I asked them to switch my summer tires to my winter tires. They failed to call me when the service was completed and told me they attempted to call me and the number did not go through. I reviewed the number on the sheet that I provided them and it was 100% correct. I had to call them in order to find out if my car was done and it had been sitting for more than an hour. On the phone, I asked them to please have my other tires waiting for me when I got there so I could take them home. I also told them that I would be there in 10 minutes. When I arrived, all the service people had gone home for the day and did not leave my tires out for me. I had arrived in less than 10 minutes too, which puzzled me because I had JUST talked to a service representative. I had to ask people to help me and they wandered around the dealer clueless as to where my tires were. I decided to talk to the manager of the dealership who was too busy to help me. Eventually, some guy had found them and did not help me put them in the car. Then, I had problems with my backup camera and asked them to diagnose it. They diagnosed it and told me it was a problem with my car's electronic system, which would cost $3,600 to fix. I agreed to order the part and asked them to call me when the part had arrived. They did not call me because they decided it would be a better idea to send me a post card in the mail... To the wrong address. What is even better is it turned out that they "misdiagnosed the problem" so I didn't need that part and waited all that time for nothing. So I had to reschedule ANOTHER appointment and order ANOTHER part because they made a mistake. Finally, I had another thing that needed to be fixed on my car and had them order a part. This time, the part I ordered was not even in the box because someone accidentally put a different part in there. So yet again, I have to schedule another appointment to get this done right. If you plan on having your car serviced here, do not plan on have them ever doing it right the first time. You might have to take more time off of work and clear your schedule for a second appointment, where you can wait there bored out of your mind and twirling your hair. You can let them treat you like you are not a valuable customer and see how much they really don't care about making your car safe to drive. I do not recommend this dealership to anyone and think there are a lot of other dealerships nearby that would be better to buy cars from and have them serviced at. I have never received more poor customer service in my entire life. More
We were in the dealership looking for a first car for our 16-year-old Daughter, Gus met up with us in the parking lot with a big smile,, He was very knowledgeable about the vehicles that he was showing u our 16-year-old Daughter, Gus met up with us in the parking lot with a big smile,, He was very knowledgeable about the vehicles that he was showing us ,I was quite impressed, We had a lot of concerns about what safety features it had or did not have ,that was our first priority, He went through everything with us, he explained how each safety feature works and put our mind at ease, We went for a test drive &loved the car, He then proceeded to help us work out a deal with the sales manager and we purchased the car over the next couple days everything went really smooth, the dealership did a really good job and so did Gus , I would recommend this dealership To anyone, Thank you for the great sales experience gus,we will be back again! I have purchased many cars (new and used) in my 30+ years of driving and Stew Hansen Hyundai was by far the most pleasant experience I've ever had. Andrew Parks (my salesman) treated with great respect; he of driving and Stew Hansen Hyundai was by far the most pleasant experience I've ever had. Andrew Parks (my salesman) treated with great respect; he cared about my business and what I wanted and was a no nonsense salesman, he was great. I also had the good fortune to meet the owners of this new dealership (used to be Holmes Hyundai – now it is a totally different dealership and for those of us who have ever dealt with Holmes know that this is a really good thing). Tommy and Danny Huynh own it now and Tommy really went out of his way to make sure I got the deal I was looking for. His Brother and General Manager, Danny Huynh ensured that I had all on the deal I was looking for and he even extended me an extra perk on the vehicle at no cost to me! Michael Martin who is the Director of Finance wrote up the deal and took his time to show me all of my options and explained all the number to me. There were no “hidden” fees or high pressure sales pitches on extras. When it came to the numbers everyone I dealt with was very up front and above board on what the costs were. Overall it was a 5 star experience. I plan on purchasing my next new vehicle from them again in about two years. I highly recommend them! More

We agreed to meet at the showroom. I test drove the car and wanted it. Danielle was very friendly and helpful throughout. Tommy, Bryan and Esad were all very friendly and helpful throughout the transaction. I now own a car I've wanted since 1965. The whole experience was friendly, quick, and efficient. I recently traded in my hyundai elantra for a used chevy cruze at the stew hansen hyundai dealership. My experience at this dealership has always been great, i would regularly bring in my elantra for routine maintenance and they have always been prompt and nice when i had brought the car in. I had been receiving emails from the dealership about wanting to purchase my elantra. I hadn't given it much thought and decided maybe it wouldn't hurt to go and talk numbers. I met with Randy Crabb one of the sales consultants and he did a great job of showing me some different options and working with me on what i wanted and where i wanted to be at price wise. The car i wanted to look at was not on the lot so he showed me some other options to see if anything interested me. I came in looking for a used chevy sonic they had on the lot which was out as a loaner so Randy showed me the cruze which I really liked. He did a great job of making me feel comfortable about my purchase and the reasoning behind why i wanted to trade in. I had only bought my elantra the previous year so still had the majority of the loan left to pay off. Tommy did a great job of helping me get the right price for the cruze while also offering me a great deal on my elantra and working it out so that the remainder of my loan was paid off. Bryan was also helpful after he had me sign all the paper work he hooked up my phone to the blue tooth capabilities in my new cruze. My experience, even though lengthy was enjoyable i never felt pressured and I always felt they had my best interest at heart while going through this process. I highly recommend Stew Hansen Hyundai and Randy Crabb for the wonderful job they did and how much they helped me through this process! More

Since this is about the dealership and not the vehicle, i'll just say that i'm very happy with my purchase. This was one of the most pleasant new car purchases i've ever had. My salesman, Andrew Parks, was the complete opposite of the stereotypical car salesman. This was the first of several different brands of vehicles I was to test drive over the next couple of weeks and there was no pressure to close the sale at any time. I ended up driving a couple of different versions of the Santa Fe, and Andrew was very helpful in answering all my questions. Actually, everyone I had contact with at Stew Hansens was very friendly. You can expect that at most dealerships, but it felt very genuine here. After deciding on the precise model and options, the negotiations was straightforward and without drama. No salesman running back and forth to the manager with offers and counters. Very nice! Andrew and the rest of the staff really made this a pleasant transaction. I'll definitely recommend Stew Hansens Hyundai to everyone. More

I enjoyed my entire experience at Stew Hansen Hyundai. My salesman, Randy Crabb, was very friendly, knowledgeable, and thorough. I visited the dealership several times and met with Randy every time. His approach was always professional and low pressure. I feel that Randy went above and beyond what I had expected. He helped with my vehicle decision and options, located and delivered the exact vehicle in a very short time. Phil helped me get through all of my paperwork quickly and Marissa did a nice job going over vehicle package options. With every visit, Randy always let me know an approximate time to expect and I sincerely appreciated the extra 30 minutes he spent with my son and I, going over not only every function of my new vehicle, but talking with my son about his car. I left Stew Hansen feeling very satisfied with my entire experience and will recommend Stew Hansen Hyundai, Randy and team to all. More
Randy did a great job of giving me an awesome purchasing experience. I was able to test drive all the models and trims that I needed to make an effective decision.
