I went to Stew because I was treated so poorly at Dewey words that I could type here would not be accepted. I arrived at Stew in hopes to purchase a new Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. I did just that, I got a words that I could type here would not be accepted. I arrived at Stew in hopes to purchase a new Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. I did just that, I got a decent deal and of course they made their money off me like I would expect. About 4 days after my purchase I was told that the company I work for has a discount. A 1% below invoice. I know I didn't even pay close to invoice and I called up my sales guy to asked him what he could do. I got very little response out of this, so I drove to the dealership and stated my case. They said they were going to call Chrysler and get whatever they could out of them as they dont have a database to look up who gets a discount from what company. My sales person said... if you would have told me that you worked for Wells Fargo, I would have known to give you a discount rate. I waited 2 days and called back to the dealership. They said they made a call but it would be a week or so. I waited a week, thinking they are just hoping I go away. I called back and got same type of response, so I called Chrysler and spoke to them. They weren't going to do a thing for me BUT told me that if it were a good dealership and wanted your recommendation and business that they have the right to rewind the deal and give me the discount that I deserve. So I called to talk to the GM of the dealership. He told me that the deal that I got was FAR better than the discount that I brought in. He even tried to tell me to bring everything back in and if he were to re-do the deal that I would owe him $750 at signing. I told him that was impossible, and tried to dump simple math on him and of course he came back with User Car math with me. In the end I flat out asked him if he would rewind my deal to reflect the 1% below invoice and give me the same for my trade in that they did before. He said NO, he would not do that. I asked why and he said that he would not make any money on the deal.... so I said, "Didn't you just say that you would make an additional $750?" I heard nothing but silence on the other end.... I said, that's what I thought and hung up! More
I was in there a couple of times. The first time i brought my car in with a rattle in the front left. They told me that my strut tension bars were bad and Scott Crowell told me that he was 110% the ra brought my car in with a rattle in the front left. The told me if this didnt fix the problem that they would fix it until it was fixed. And those were Scotts exact words. Get the car back that day and start driving down Hickman and instantly started making the noise again. Scott told me that the technician took it on a drive after he had switched parts and didnt hear the noise. I find that hard to believe since as soon as i got off the lot it started rattling. So i took it back and then they had it almost all day! They said that a slider in the caliper was loose and packed it full of silicon lube and tightened the anti-rattle clips on the brake pads themselves. Scott again said that the problem was fixed. As soon as i pull off the lot it again starts rattling. So i call and tell him and we set up another time to bring it in. So i bring it in and Scott and Todd both tell me theres nothing they could do. That they would have to replace the caliper itself and that was going to be another 470 dollars. Even after i brought up the fact that Scott was 110% certain that that was the problem the first time. I will be calling the Better Business Bureau because they completely scammed me. IF THEY EVER TELL YOU THEYLL FIX IT ON THEM UNTIL ITS FIXED THEN THATS A COMPLETE BULL LIE!!!! I do not recommend this dealer to ANYONE and i will do nothing but tell people about how bad my customer service was and how they scammed me! More
The finance person mike martin loaded our finance agreement with unwanted purchases such as Titanium plus oil changes, Gap coverage theft protection and a longer payment plan then I requested and hig agreement with unwanted purchases such as Titanium plus oil changes, Gap coverage theft protection and a longer payment plan then I requested and higher interest rate then the market. I purchased a new 2012 ram 1500 from Stew Hansens. I have taken it to the service department twice for the same problems with no resolution. I have explained several times what the problems are and I ha have taken it to the service department twice for the same problems with no resolution. I have explained several times what the problems are and I have a recorded message from the service advisor telling me "the issues with my truck have been solved" the paper work states that nothing was done to correct the issues in any way. The paper work also states that the problems were duplicated and acknowledged but nothing was done to correct them. My experience with the sales department has been a much different experience than the service department. I will be taking it back tomorrow for the third time for the exact same issues I tried to get fixed the first time! I know that there are dealerships that take pride not just in sales but but also in taking care of the customer after the sale. Stew Hansen is not that dealership!!! More
Adam, service Mgr was awesome. Fast Friendly service w/o appointment even. New 2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4x4 is one of the best new cars I have ever owned. And I have owned probably 30 or more appointment even. New 2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4x4 is one of the best new cars I have ever owned. And I have owned probably 30 or more since I got out of High School. Responsive, sure footed on slick roads like a Grand Canyon Mule. Fast and fun 3.6 that is easy on gas. Just wish I could have another one for me besides the Wifes. She took my new Sierra to work so I could get the break-in oil out of it for our trip next week. WHAT A MACHINE! P.S. I went to buy a used vechile and the service was bad from the get go! I am one that does not like to wait for too long but my experience took all day. We bought a new Chrysler van, It did have a problem with the. Carpet in back which they fixed. I agreed on 2 yrs of oil changes. Went there yesterday and they had no clue. I did have a witness when it was paid for and they said it would be 2 yrs oil changes. Also had slush mats which were not on the contract, Guess dont trust the sales people.
