Stevenson Toyota West sales and management members are indeed shady and very misrepresentative of their products. Instead of being upfront and honest about this vehicle missing things like a remote keyless entry they waited until I had signed the papers before handing over the keys for myself to "notice" it wasn't there. After speaking to numerous higher ups all they could say was "read the fine print." At the bottom of the window sticker there is fine print that says the "It is the sole responsibility of the customer to verify the existence of any option or condition of the equipment listed." How low can these guys be? They are as far from honest and trustworthy as a car dealership can get. They couldn't even answer my questions on the missing aspects of the truck "I" did notice. I notified the better business bureau on this matter, for the simple fact that their sales service needs to be addressed! More
I took my 2006 toyota tacoma in for 30000 mile oil change. I decided to get 30000 mile check up. Buy the time they finished with me, it cost me $736.00, but that was with a FREE oil change. The sales process was very difficult and they repeatedly made "mistakes" in pricing in their favor. I went to Stevenson with the intent of buying a new truck and trading in my used vehicle. I was up front with them by informing them I had a trade in and had to know what I could get for it before I would d and trading in my used vehicle. They took my truck for a test drive and informed me they could not give me the value for all the after market parts that I had put on, but they would be willing to give me $29,000 for a trade in. I then test drove a new Tundra and told my sales person I would think about it. The next day I went back and informed they I intended to buy the tundra priced at about $41,000. The sales manager then asked me what it would take for me to buy the Tundra right now. We finally came to a price of $38,750 he wrote down that price and the price of $29,000 for my trade. He had me sign saying it was a commitment between Stevenson and I that I would buy the vehicle for $38,750 and I would get 29,000 for my trade rolling over $231.00. He then informed me that we would have to complete the proper paper work and the truck was mine. He then later came back and informed me that they would not honor the aggrement and that they would roll over $3,000 from my trade in, because the Tundra was a hot seller and they could get more from another customer. I left and contacted the uppers that be and I was informed that it was a bit unethical and they would talk to the sales manager about it, but that they would not honor there contract. PLEASE DO NOT BUY FROM STEVENSON TOYOTA WEST!!!! THEY ARE THE THE REASON PEOPLE SAY CAR DEALERS ARE SHADY AND TRY AND RIP PEOPLE OFF! More
Price agreement was straightforeward and fair. Michael was very friendly, helpful, and great to work with. I would have given 5's across the board if the financing guy didn't try to sell me the alarm sys was very friendly, helpful, and great to work with. Overall, Im very happy with my 2005 Tacoma and with the dealership I got it from. More
