The first time I met Anthony, I felt very comfortable with him, and ended up confident enough in him to purchase and car worth more than $50,000.00 - quite a confidence level. He has provided excellent with him, and ended up confident enough in him to purchase and car worth more than $50,000.00 - quite a confidence level. He has provided excellent post-purchase customer service and continues to do so. My subsequent automotive purchases will be with Anthony because of the trust he has earned from me. Regards, Michael Stevenson More
I have been a customer of Stevenson Chevy since 2006 when I bought my new duramax and have had it serviced by Stevenson since. I have always appreciated all the folks at the Stevenson family and when it cam I bought my new duramax and have had it serviced by Stevenson since. I have always appreciated all the folks at the Stevenson family and when it came time for my girl friends daughter to get a new car due to her old car being totaled in a car crash, I didn't think twice about referring her to Stevenson. I've been close to Ryan Watson and Tony Salazar for many years and knew they would take good care of whoever I sent their way. As I expected Stevenson was able to deliver a very nice, clean used car for the price that was budgeted for. They did everything perfect and the follow-up afterwards was fantastic to make sure things were working out as planned and the car was working well. I have continued to recommend friends to Stevenson with confidence that Ryan and Tony will always take good care of them. I further recommend Stevenson to all who need to consider a car purchase, they are Colorado native and if you believe in ABC.....Always Buy Colorado....or from those in Colorado as businesses! More
I went to Stevinson after having a terrible experience with another dealer. Tony took more than good care of me and insured that I got the car I wanted at the price I wanted. Not only that, but they worke with another dealer. Tony took more than good care of me and insured that I got the car I wanted at the price I wanted. Not only that, but they worked with me to help take care of my problem at the other dealership. I was completely taken care of and within two days of the purchase they had set up my first oil change. I had to go back to the dealer to pick up my additional set of keys and because I drove there they cleaned my car and filled my tank! I have never been more satisfied with the financing either. Mike took care of my financing and didn't try to sell me a bunch of additional products I wouldn't need like I have experienced at other dealers in the past. The price I was given as my monthly payment stayed the price I was given even through the financing, which in my experience purchasing cars is rare, and this is my 4th purchased/financed vehicle. I would recommend Tony, Mike, and all of the Stevinson staff for purchasing a vehicle. More
Ryan Dodson at Stevinson Toyota West was a fantastric sales agent and a true advocate. At last minute notice I through him an unexpected (by both of us) curve ball and he rolled with it and produced grea sales agent and a true advocate. At last minute notice I through him an unexpected (by both of us) curve ball and he rolled with it and produced great results for me and my family. His customer service was top notch. I put his contact information into my phone as I know I'll be back to use him again in the near future as well as share his contact information with others. I highly recommend Ryan for all your sales needs! More
Oct 2009 they told me my transfer case was leaking and that it would be free because it was a recall item. 2005 Toyota 4-Runner 8 cyl. Spent 6 hours there to "fix it" and to do an alignment. April 2010 th that it would be free because it was a recall item. 2005 Toyota 4-Runner 8 cyl. Spent 6 hours there to "fix it" and to do an alignment. April 2010 they did the oil change and didn't report any problems. Had to go back for other problems June 2010 (see below) and still nothing reported on the t case. Got someone else to do an oil change in Oct 2010 and there was almost no t case oil in it--it has been leaking apparently the whole time--for one year. So now I get to spend 6 more hours there???? Why didn't their guys see it the 2 times I was there after they "fixed it"? Back to my April 2010 visit to swap my winter tires off. I bought 4 new all seasons from them, drove away, and had HUGE pulling to the left that I didn't go in with. Remember I had an alignment in OCT when I had my winter tires put on and had NO problems when I drove in in April. The line manager told me it was my tires when I called --I told him I HAD JUST BOUGHT THEM FROM HIM. The gentleman below the GM gave me a free alignment, but I had to drive back from the mountains and sit around all day again. PLUS THEY KEPT MY $1,000.00 SNOW TIRES!!!!!! I had to drive back and get them!!!! More
Car salespersons and dealerships have the reputation they do for a reason. My parents (without assistance from one of their more savvy children or friends) stepped into this place and ended up getting taken do for a reason. My parents (without assistance from one of their more savvy children or friends) stepped into this place and ended up getting taken coming and going. Their Corolla payment is insanely high because they paid no more than full retail price, got schnookered into a long-term warranty (on a Corolla?), were talked into the clear bra (on a Corolla?), and whatever additional fees and taxes that they could possibly tack on. That having been said, they should have known better about those things, and they were happy when they walked out the door. The real issue was when, after a week my stepfather lost his job and tried to take the car back to the dealer or work something else out with them. This is where the rub is. When my mom (sobbing) and my stepdad went back in to see what, if anything, could be done about the situation, they responded with "we can repossess it now or we can repossess it later, it's up to you." This is probably not an infrequent scenario under the current economic conditions, and although no one should expect to be able to take their car back and have it be easy unless they bought another brand, there are other options. Most importantly, when someone steps BACK into your dealership after having been taken coming and going (more than once - they bought an outrageously priced used Prius there a couple years ago), you should treat them with respect and compassion and at least sit down for a few minutes and talk through what can be done. I won't be setting foot into this dealership EVER again - even for service. More
I was looking for a Toyota 4 runner, we did not see the one we were looking for so we test drove a 2005 VW touareg. The sales person took us out on the busy I-70 towards the mountains on our test drive. one we were looking for so we test drove a 2005 VW touareg. The sales person took us out on the busy I-70 towards the mountains on our test drive. Because of the busy and aggressive road this was a good test of power for the car but there was things that I thought that this dealer should have found in some kind of pre-sales inspection. The car was fitted with the wrong tire size to begin with, my wife found this out on her drive back home, a 10mph over speeding ticket. Not only was the odometer off but the cruise control and wipers did not work on the vehicle. I am questioning the lemon law on this as we bought this car thinking that it was in working order obviously not. We bought the car without knowing these things, and even paid $2500 for their supposable extended warranty, never again, this thing covers nothing. When we told the dealership about these problems they referred us to a VW dealership, they were very helpful but quick to point out that our $2500 extended warranty was a rip off. They did get Stevenson to pay for the tires and fix that, but it took a series of 4 trips to get the car fixed. This was an added expense as we live two hours away from the dealership. The car still has small things that we find every day that we have to get fixed, I can’t feel real confident that they did any pre-sales inspection of the car at all. I felt rushed though the whole buying experience and would encourage anyone to never do business with Stevenson Toyota. More
First let me say that a dealer that has to hide between layers of people must have issues to deal with. There is not a direct link to address Mr. Stevinson anywhere. I called the dealership first to layers of people must have issues to deal with. There is not a direct link to address Mr. Stevinson anywhere. I called the dealership first to get an email address to the owner. The operator answered and immediately put me on hold before even addressing me. When I did get her she transferred me to the corporate office and nobody answered there at all. So I called back the store again and immediately was put on hold again without even a hello. When you take your vehicle in to have it serviced and you are waiting I would not expect the complete shop to be on a breakfast break an hour and a half after arriving at work. I guess at Toyota East that is the plan. I arrived at 8:30AM and at 9:10AM there were only service writers in the shop. Everyone else was in the lunch room having breakfast! In the shop you could hear a pin drop. I can only think that business must be awful if you treat your customers like that. If I owned the shop and I had customers waiting they would get serviced quickly and on there way. This was a total shock to me and probably embarrassing to employees reading this. Shame on you Mr. Stevinson for letting this behavior happen! More
On 10/18/08, my husband and I went to Stevenson Toyota West hoping to be able to trade in our 3 week old 2009 Toyota Tacoma for a 2008 Toyota Tundra. We were helped by salesman Kevin Waker. After many h West hoping to be able to trade in our 3 week old 2009 Toyota Tacoma for a 2008 Toyota Tundra. We were helped by salesman Kevin Waker. After many hours of negotiating, we left the dealership without a deal. Later in the afternoon, Mike Myers, one of the sales manager, called and asked how they can gain our business. We laid out the terms: $860.00 even a month, including taxes and Gap insurance on the Tundra, and taking the Lojack from the Tacoma and installing into the Tundra, and $500 down for Toyota 0% financing special. Mike said yes so after a week, on 10/25/08, we went back and signed the papers for the deal. We were happy about everything until 10/31/08, when Derek, the finance manager, called and said that Toyota qualified us for the 0% interest financing but we needed another $8100 down! What kind of deal is that? They call this being qualified for thei special 0% financing deal? No, the bottom line was, we did not qualify for their special finance unless we came up with another $8100, which was the amount left on our Tacoma that Stevenson Toyota West had to pay off to sell us the Tundra. So really, what Stevenson Toyota West is saying is that we don't want to be liable for your Tacoma, we only want to give you $25000 for a trade-in and you need to come up with the balance to pay it off, through the same bank Toyota Financial Services! before they will finance the Tundra. Well, we don't have that kind of money, and if we did, there would have been many other things to do with $8100 before putting it down on a depreciative vehicle for sure! Anyway, we returned the Tundra on 11/1/08 to find out that we just lost the $500 that we put down on the Tundra because of fees. Fees that accrue because the car was returned. Well, the fees would have been legitimate if we returned the vehicle after we were approved for the loan, but no, we were not approved for the loan because of the high down payment Stevenson Toyota West requested, but Derek refused to return our money, citing the disclosures that we signed regarding the fees involve if the vehicle gets returned. What choice did we have? We coudn't afford $8100 so of course, we had to return the Tundra! Is Toyota so hungry for money these days that they have to cheat their customers out of money just to make some money? I mean, Derek and the dealership must have known way before 10/31 that we couldn't qualify for the loan unless we put down an enormous amount, why wait until a Friday night to call us and tell us? Because they wanted to keep the $500 that we saved up so hard to give them for their vehicle! They knew that we were an easy prey for them because we are minorities and they fully took advantage of the situation. I feel bad for whoever walks into Stevenson Toyota West and gets treated the same as we did because we are sure that there are many out there but they do not have a voice to be heard, so let us be the first ones to shout our discontentment at a dealership who misleads people in hope of making a few bucks in an economy where buying a new car is not top priority anymore. Shame on Stevenson Toyota West for having these kind of people run their business. More
