unsafe/bad brakes after they claimed it passed inspection I have always been nervous about buying a car through a dealership and I hoped they would prove me wrong. Unfortunately they dropped the ball and proved everything true about the bad business. I purchased a 2006 Subaru outback and was told it passed all safety inspection. The next day I was driving the car and when I applied the brakes I knew something was really wrong when the steering wheel shook so bad. So I brought it into a trusted mechanic for an inspection to find out all brake pads and rotors where totally shot and warped! SO after about 12 calls I got through to Mike Douglas and they actually told me that it was written in the report that they knew about it...but yet they still put it out on the lot for sale! Now they are unwilling to replace the bad rotors and brake pads. It was just so cheesy Mike Douglas was so desperate to sell this car he said he would fill up the tank with gas and never did. The mud flap was hanging off the back and I only agreed to buy the car if that was fixed, he blew me off for days when I tried to make a time to come back. I had travelled to Denver to be in the hospital and was a bit worried about the reliability of driving back and forth to the hospital in the car. It just didn’t sound or feel right and was overdue for an oil change. I had heard it can sometimes be difficult to schedule a service appointment at this location on short notice so I called them as soon as I was aware the car needed some attention. The service department worked hard to accommodate my schedule so that I could get the car in for service. The needed maintenance was rather extensive and I was provided with a rental car and a discount on unexpected costs. The service staff clearly explained all aspects of the service and the bill, and kept in communication with me while at the hospital. It was a very difficult week and I truly appreciated the service department's flexibility and support. After leaving the hospital, I was able to spend the weekend running errands, so that my family member could get some much needed rest. More

It was for a basic maintenance service ($67) and when I signed up the cost, I told Christopher Humphrey (a service consultant) about noise from the air fan. He said that he would 'take a look at it'. However, 'take a look at it' was converted to 'inspection ($62)' and when I signed up $62, it was not for the basic maintenance service ($67). He did not show the total cost, $141, and I did not carefully see it (btw 62 and 67, it looked same to me). If I knew it was additional $62, I would not ask 'inspection' because I already checked this out myself. It was a nice trick because he did not show the total cost. I had to pay it because I signed up and I trusted them too much (I should double check the total cost). You will always need to ask the total cost whenever you come to here. Also, I do not understand why this place has got high review scores. The lobby here is the worst among all others and that is why I go to the starbucks (0.5 mile north). Anyway, I need to find another service center which does not trick to their costumers. I am glad that I just figured out this service center with only $62. 10 mins later... I have just figured out why this Toyota has got high review scores. The reviews are based on the sales not the service center. It is another my mistake. I came here because of the review scores but they are not for the service center. DO NOT CONFUSE IT. More

Lexus Treatment I was very nervous when I drove to the Stevinson Toyota East Dealership even though I was preapproved to purchase a vehicle. I open my car door to go I was very nervous when I drove to the Stevinson Toyota East Dealership even though I was preapproved to purchase a vehicle. I open my car door to go into the dealership and Kelley was parking a vehicle, she didn't know me and I surely didn't know her but she said hello and asked if she could help me, and from the moment up until the next day I was given excellent and I do mean excellent customer service from Kelley. I told her what I was looking for and she walked around the lot to find me just what I wanted as well as took me on a couple of test drives, she was will to do as many test drives as it took to get me what I wanted, I just wasn't willing. Kelley was with me though the whole process from beginning to the moment I drove away in my new RAV4, she even called me the next day to make sure I was still satisfied. I would highly recommend Stevinson Toyota East and I would extremely recommend you see the Sales Associate Kelley Bargmann she goes above and beyond to ensure you get wonderful customer service. More
