Pat Kelley was really great to work with, everything was very simple and clear with him, which I really appreciated. However, Ric, the sales manager, ruined this buying experience for me, when I found out t very simple and clear with him, which I really appreciated. However, Ric, the sales manager, ruined this buying experience for me, when I found out that he called the dealers over at Mountain States Toyota, to see if I had visited them, and to find out what they were offering me. I had not mentioned Mountain States with Ric, because I was not trying to get him to beat an offer that MST had given me, I was only trying to see what Stevinson had to offer me. I found out about the call later that evening, when the sales consultant at MST told me that he had been called and informed of my visit at Stevinson East, and hence was not willing to sell at a better offer that he had given me earlier. Knowing this, I felt this was really unfair on the dealership's part, as the whole point in visiting multiple dealerships, is to get the best offer on your new purchase. But discussing prices with each other, defeats the whole purpose of trying to bargain prices elsewhere and the reason for multiple dealerships, competing for business. Since they had discussed what each one was offering, I felt it was pointless to check back on offers at other dealerships, as I figured Ric might have called up the other dealerships I had visited, as well. After agreeing to their offer, Jim Miller was also really great to work with, he was patient throughout the deal and kept business very straight-forward. I would definitely recommend working with Pat Kelley if you choose to visit Stevinson East, but avoid Ric if possible. More
