Do Not Take Your Vehicle To Be Serviced Here. A short story. I have been taking my 2021 Silverado to this dealership religiously since I bought it. 9 months ago, I took it in for an oil change A short story. I have been taking my 2021 Silverado to this dealership religiously since I bought it. 9 months ago, I took it in for an oil change and was concerned about the brakes. It had 60,000 miles on it and I figured it was due. I asked them to check the brakes. I picked it up and was told the brakes are fine, nothing to worry about. About 5 months ago, I returned for another oil change and was notified that my brakes were bad and the rotors were torn up and unusable. I was told that they couldn't resurface the rotors and would have to pay well over 1500 for new ones. I challenged them on the fact that they have been doing maintenance on it since I bought it and I specifically asked about brakes on my prior visit. After a little negotiation, the tech conceded that they missed the brakes and offered to comp new rotors if I purchased the brakes, I felt that was fair and the job was done. 6 weeks later, my oil light began going off and I had to put 2 quarts of oil in the truck. I thought this was odd and on the next oil change, I took it to a different dealership, losing trust in Stevinson. The new dealership informed me that my rotors were torn up and needed to be replaced. They have deep grooves in them that can only be caused by metal on metal. I explained that those rotors should be brand new. They told me that they were not and appeared to be the originals. meaning, Stevinson slapped on the old ones and let me believe that they are new. I contacted Stevinson and explained the findings and they offered to look at thebrake system. They promptly told me that the rotors were bad and they have no idea how they were damaged. The blamed heavy braking in the 5 months they were on. I told them that I believed that they neglected to change them out and they denied that accusation. I told them to warranty the existing rotors for the damage and they refused. They refused because they can't warranty old rotors. I informed them that my kid drives the truck and I felt this was a liability. They offered to resurface them and I informed them that they told me the rotors could not be resurfaced. I left with out the equipment being replaced. I made a formal complaint with GM Motors. Be cautious - this dealership half xxxxx the fix and makes excuses. More

My appointment was for a Monday, however it appeared that the service dept was backed up with work from the previous day and my car was not ready fro me for 3 days. The department needs someone who can adju the service dept was backed up with work from the previous day and my car was not ready fro me for 3 days.
