Amazing Experience I had been looking into buying a van for a while and had narrowed it down to two at two different dealerships, Stevinson's and Empire Lakewood. Two almost identical cars, yet i was hesitant because i absolutely HATE car dealerships and car salesman. I hate how they lie and con and couldn't wait for Amazon to start selling cars, but I went to look at the Empire van first and was reminded of how slimy car salesman are, the salesman lied through his teeth and was annoyed i asked to test drive the vehicle, he directed me to the shortest possible route and it felt like we drove around the dealership and were back, after which he began hounding me for a deal. I knew the vehicle i wanted and and figured i would just grit my teeth and get it over with because all dealership and car salesman are the same, right? However, i really wanted to check out the car at Stevinson so i extracted myself and drove across the street to Stevinson where i met with Rob Knuth, and man what an experience. The guy is humble, non assuming, kind, we did a detailed test drive where we talked about the pro's and cons of the van, he didn't lie to me, i had done my research and honestly it felt like i were talking to my dad or uncle. We went back, again no pressure, he asked the manager if they could hold the van for a few days so i could think it over, we talked price, we talked APR we talked discounts. Long story short, i bought that van right there on that day. I will never buy a car from anyone else, i have finally met a honest salesman and i've been telling all my family and friends. The van also has some tar on the hood and i called the service center to fix them and got the run around, so i called Rob (as much as i didn't want to since he is sales and not on the service side), he talked to service and i dropped the van off that afternoon! Such an amazing experience, Stevinson, Rob Knuth has a customer for life. Thank you! More
