This is the 6th car we have purchased from this dealership. We typically have an amazing experience with the salesmen and this time was no different. The original person, Jeremy who helped us out w dealership. We typically have an amazing experience with the salesmen and this time was no different. The original person, Jeremy who helped us out was great. I wanted a particular color, trim, and package Rav 4 Hybrid and he was able to find one and let me know when it would arrive. Jeremy was out of town when the Rav4 came in but was able to pass it over to another salesman, James, who helped finish up the transaction. Kevin was our finance person that came to talk to us with Jeremy and again with James and we had experience with him before when we bought my husband's Tacoma. I was a bit disappointed with negotiations this time, I felt there wasn't much back and forth, just a here, this is what I am offering take it or leave it. That is not what was said but it felt that way. I told Christian (financial guy number 2 who we signed the paperwork with) I did not want any negative equity in the trade in and I knew the car I was trading in was at least worth what was owed (according to KBB, even in fair condition, it was worth more than the amount we owed), but they refused to go up any and stated that we were "saving money in taxes." That might be true but what does that have to do with giving me the full pay off amount? Absolutely nothing. At that point my blood sugar was low (type 1 diabetic) and I needed to be done with this whole thing so I said I do not want to finance with them and decided to go with Navy Federal instead, since I already had a pre-approved check for the amount that was needed. Christian did not argue or try to change our minds and proceeded to change the paperwork so we could sign it. All in all, I got the car I wanted and the payment and interest rate with GAP that I could actually live with so I am happy. Sales people are always great to work with here. More
