I had to put a 2nd engine in the car they sold me; and that was after the one they replaced had blown up. Bought with cash a 2005 BMW convertible which was billed as "a classic"- not certified but supposedly checked over by service dept with very few needed repairs. Paid higher than market for it "as is" bc it as "a classic"- not certified but supposedly checked over by service dept with very few needed repairs. Paid higher than market for it "as is" bc it only had 57,000 miles on it. Five months and Lord knows how many problems later-with bills sky-high to exotic repair shop- I can't drive it out of town without fearing it'll stop on me. I'm the shop for the THIRD time, third set of repairs, new ignition switch, oil leak, other "dash light" problems- now has emissions problem. I'll have over 16k cash in this "classic" soon with no end in sight. Told by the salesman at Honda they'd love to sell me an updated used car, but not to expect much on trade in- should have been wholesaled off the bat!! I'm stuck with an endless cash sucker, Yes, I bought it, paid cash, "as is", but having bought 5 prior cards through Stevenson, you'd think they'd try to make it right. No effort. Laughing all the way to the bank. I'm not a complainer by nature, but this has been a HUGE ripoff. Do not buy a used car from them unless having it mechanically checked FiRST. They've done ZERO to acknowledge their sleazy sales tactics and supposed multi-system service check before I bought it. THEY should've wholesaled it and never sold it "in good faith" to a cash paying customer. Now I'm saddled with huge repair bills in a car I cannot trust, only 4k miles driven....it should be unlawful, More
