RUN!!!! This dealership sold me a lemon car and deceived me into a new contract, claiming they were “swapping out” the car for a functioning vehicle. $9500 la This dealership sold me a lemon car and deceived me into a new contract, claiming they were “swapping out” the car for a functioning vehicle. $9500 later I am upside down in a vehicle that gives me a stomach ache to drive. I was verbally abused by a male salesman while having a panic attack brought on while discussing the multiple times I had to be towed from car malfunctioning. I was forced to sit outside on the pavement in the dirt while the panic attack passed. The manager Pat Koballa and his partner in crime Peggy, stared blankly while I told them the horrors their staff inflicted upon me. Their response, “you signed the contract, and we cannot control your emotions.” WOW! I was shocked! Lied to about the contract I was signing, humiliated, insulted and belittled by a male staff member, and NO apology or admittance of wrong doing. RUN!! They care only for money. They are a disgrace to the Honda brand. Trashy people, trashy business practices, immoral filth. No respect for their clients. You are a walking ATM. More

Matt Banning has been outstanding through every car that we have purchased. Always very helpful and goes above and beyond the expectations. If there is ever any problems he is more then willing to help solve the issue. Can't thank him enough for everything he has done for us! We wont buy cars from anywhere else. Job well done! More

However, within the first minute of interaction I knew that not to be the case. He introduced me to the car salesman after being asked what I was there for. I stated I'm looking to test drive a Honda fit. My friend, who was coming to be supportive of my decision to buy a new car, happens to be male. When I was introduced to the car salesman, he bypassed me, and shook my friend hand first. He's not buying my car, so why they shook his hand first, as if I didn't just speak to the other manager about my needs astounds me. Are we in the 50s? I was literally standing right there and he reached over me to shake his hand before I was acknowledged. That started off the interactions badly which only got worse. He asked me the kind of payment i was looking for. I stated about half what he wad quoting me. He said that most people don't get out of here with less than a 500 dollar car payment. I said i would or i wouldn't be buying a car from him. He then tried to run my credit before I test drove the car that I came in for. One I wasn't sure I wanted to buy. I told him no. He seemed irritated at that point. We finally test drove the car. I liked it enough to talk financing. He came back with figures for the sticker price of the car. When I asked why was there no discount on the cars price he had no answer for me. Along with car payments higher than I am willing to pay. The sales manager comes back with him the 2nd time. Insults me by asking whether I needed all the options available or if a lower model will work for me, takes about 1500 off the car. And basically wants an 84 month loan. You're crazy to think I'd buy a car from you at this point. I have you 3 chances to redeem yourself and you kept shoveling yourself deeper. Great job Stevenson Honda I will not return or buy a Honda. I just received a follow up call from Jackson, the salesman. When I explained my above issues with him and how they handled my visit he stated he wasn't going to beg me to buy a car from him. No I'm sorry that we made you feel that way. Nothing. Just.... well there are other purple coming in to buy cars all the time. Anther great job from Stevenson. More

The NJ Service Rep told me about this site and the cashier overheard our conversation and said "Oh yeah, Stevenson Honda, Wilmington, I lived there for 2 years. They have a used car mentality there. Definitely do not know how to treat a customer". So, it's not just me. They suck big time. More
Get a real mechanic I purchased my 2015 Honda Civic SI at this dealership. I also purchased a maintenance plan with it. I have had nothing but issues with this vehicle si I purchased my 2015 Honda Civic SI at this dealership. I also purchased a maintenance plan with it. I have had nothing but issues with this vehicle since I have bought it. I have taken this car in for the regular maintenance every time it is due. This isn't the first negative experience I have had with them either but I will say I was dumb enough to give them another chance. I have taken my vehicle to them multiple times for them to tell me every time there is nothing wrong with the car. I have had loss of power, tire issues, starting issues, computer issues and you name it its probably going on with this car. It has 26,000 miles on it and drives like it has 300,000. I am not hard on the car at all and as I said before I take it to them for the regular maintenance. I recently got so irritated that I took it to another shop in Wilmington just for them to look at and give a second opinion. They found the car throwing codes from the computer and when they test drove it they had the same problems I was describing. I returned it back to the Honda service department only for them to tell me that I have 4 bent rims and that the reset the computer in order to clear the issues. They also informed me that there is still nothing wrong with my car due to the lack of lights lit up on the dash and other than the bent rims and that they are my problem that I have hit too many pot holes. There is no way that I bent 4 rims just driving around Wilmington, There has to be something wrong with suspension in order to bend 4 rims but again there's nothing wrong with the car according to them. They are supposed to be rotating the tires on this vehicle at maintenance how would you have just now noticed that there were 4 bent rims and checked off on the sheet that everything is good on the vehicle. After all this I am still having all the same issues. I am scared that the car is going to fall apart while I'm driving down the road. The car doesn't want to start half the time, won't go into gear, stutters and certain speeds and has no power behind it at all. How is this safe and nothing is wrong?!!! This is practically a brand new car I purchased this vehicle in order to not have to worry about these issues but somehow this cars worse than my other vehicle that I traded in to them that I had bought from them as well that a jump box was left in my trunk and grounded out and caught fire and had multiple recalls that needed fixed. Did I mention I purchased this vehicle brand new from them in June of 2015. I also purchased a scotch guard on my paint and interior to keep from staining and paint chipping. I think its stains the seats worse than not having it on there. I have noting but weird black spots all over my seats and my paints already chipping they don't want to fix this either saying its my fault. I haven't spilled anything in this vehicle this is just from condensation from drinks and sweat. I have had nothing but negative experiences with this dealership if I hadn't had already spent money on this I wouldn't step foot back there. I also checked behind them after taking my car in for regular maintenance and all of the fluids the supposedly checked were all low. I have already put in this complaint with Honda Customer Service but they will not get back in contact with me for a week. This vehicle is a safety hazard and they still expect me to drive it everyday since its my only vehicle. I have owned Honda's for years but after this experience I will never buy another one. I just want this car fixed or I want reimbursed so I can find a reliable vehicle that will last more than 20,000 miles before it falls apart. More
