And our purchase experience has always been good. That does not mean it is not scary each time. It's terrifying for us. We are not negotiators. We are a working family who wants a fair deal. But more than that we want to be treated well and we like connecting with the people we are doing business with on a somewhat personal or emotional level. And that is exactly what we got at Lejeune Honda - particularly with Chris Repstein. We purchased an AWD Pilot Touring. The last Pilot we purchased was in 2004 and it much more of a base model. Our MDX is a 2012 base model. So technology in cars is new to us. We've never had a vehicle with a Nav or an entertainment system, let alone safety technology features. I'm sure we would have eventually figured out how to use everything on our own. But with our busy lives, who knows when that would have happened aor if we would have ever learned about all of the technology capabilities. Chris took us through everything. Made sure we understood everything. Showed us things I'm not sure we would have ever known existed. And he really seemed to enjoy doing it and cared that we were comfortable driving off the lot. From the moment we sat down with him, he put us at ease. He was incredible. And he was always there to take us to the next stage of the process. The experience at Lejeune Honda was five-star. Chris made it five-star +...any number you want add — he's worth it. Simply put, Chris made the 2-hour drive from Raleigh worth every minute. More

Awesome first time car buying experience! We were looking for an affordable and reliable hatchback, and the Honda Fit and Mazda 3 were at the top of our list. We went to Lejeune Honda first to We were looking for an affordable and reliable hatchback, and the Honda Fit and Mazda 3 were at the top of our list. We went to Lejeune Honda first to test out the Fit, and everyone was super friendly and treated us like valued customers from the second we pulled up. That surprised me because my husband and I are young and were looking at their entry level vehicle. The Fit really wowed us with how much fun it was to drive, how impossibly large it felt inside for a subcompact, and how premium it felt. We wanted to test drive the Mazda 3 before making a decision, so we went next door. The Mazda 3 wasn't exciting or sporty feeling like the Fit, the salesperson kept trying to talk us into sedans we weren't interested in, they didn't offer any military discounts or incentives, and we had better financing options with our credit union. After shopping around, we called Lejeune Honda and spoke to Ryan, who offered us a fair price. It wasn't a steal, but it was definitely reasonable especially with their military Honda financing discount and a great interest rate. Our second visit to Lejeune Honda was as welcoming as the first, and working with Ryan was great. He was really kind and super patient on our test drive, letting me take my time rolling around the parking lot to ease my anxiety driving a new car. He was really attentive, answering all our questions and offering relevant suggestions without being pushy or making us feel rushed. He treated me with the same respect as my husband instead of trying to sell to my husband's wallet and mostly ignoring me like at the Mazda dealership. The paperwork part of the process went about as quickly as it could have with a few other customers also purchasing. The guy we worked with in financing was nice and didn't push too hard on the warranty upgrades, which was great as we were so ready to just leave with our new Fit. The worst thing that happened was that our Fit was the showroom model and the battery died after they drove it out of the building, but they were quick to remedy that by giving us the same model as a loaner to keep that night and Sunday until the service department opened back up today (Monday). The Fit was perfect and ready to go with a new battery when I came in today. Ryan walked me through all the features of the car and showed me how to get my phone hooked up, and was just as friendly, helpful, and patient as before. Aside from the battery issue that wasn't anyone's fault and was almost immediately resolved, we couldn't have asked for an easier or better experience purchasing our first car thanks to Ryan and everyone at Lejeune Honda! I would definitely recommend Lejeune Honda (and the Honda Fit)! More
