A no pressure dealership that took all the time I needed to get comfortable with my purchase. I bought a used convertible and a new SUV AND traded in my old car. Unfortunately, I did not read reviews prior to my experience with Ford, which would have set my expectations(to nothing it appears). I was told that Peter Bloom was the General Manager and while he experience with Ford, which would have set my expectations(to nothing it appears). I was told that Peter Bloom was the General Manager and while he has made some comments on these reviews, even he seems to have given up on answering anyone which is a huge red flag. On the advice of corporate, I was told to contact him directly as service issues aren't always reported to managers. However, he wasn't available to take my call - on paternity leave until "sometime in October" and no backup. I was told maybe a salesperson can help? I think not. My car had a recall a number of years ago to replace the axle. We took it to Stevens Ford back then, who stated they didn't see any cracks, so they installed brackets instead. Well, recently as I was driving the car, on the highway - the axle broke! After I had it towed to my mechanic, they discovered that it was covered under the recall and suggested I return it to the dealership that handled it. I contacted Stevens, who denied they did the recall. It was only after I produced the original paperwork did they state they would look at it, but it would be a two week wait. We had it towed to their location at their direction. Well it sat for two weeks and we didn't hear a peep. When we eventually called they said that they were not sure how to put it on a lift, because the axle was broken. Another week goes by, they still aren't sure how to put it on a lift. We call the following week and the guy handling it was on vacation, so they forwarded the call to someone else that had no idea what the status of the car was. Called the following week, again told not sure how to get it on the lift. Suggested I call Corporate to handle the matter or AAA to have them come back and fix the angle of the axle to get it on the lift. Apparently, when they delivered the car, it was placed in an awkward position because of the axle (Hello.... original recall. They were so worried about the safety of it getting on a lift, did they never stop to think I could have had a serious accident on the highway with a broken axle, luckily I was getting off an exit when it did. They also said they called corporate for service help but did not get a response. Corporate had no record of them ever calling in. It became a big game of finger pointing I would suggest to anyone here with a complaint to contact corporate to make it formal. Although they are individually owned, Ford tracks the amount of complaints for this location to keep its franchise license. One of the service people I dealt with had the nastiest attitude towards me, impatient and dismissive. Basically, no help. When I called to get an update, they told me parts were ordered and they would get to it at that point. They never called, provided updates or even give us a sense of timing for completion or what was going on. When I questioned this behavior, I was told I was correct, that I should be getting updates, but no one on the Ford side ever did. Well, I should have been given a loaner car, after I waited more than a month - but they never did. I recently had a recall with another car(BMW) I own and the experience could not have been any different - like night and day. When we did go pick up the car, they left the lights on, and the car was dead. It took over an hour of jumpstarting and charging the car to even get it off the lot. Additionally, the hubcap covers were placed in the car when they were at the mechanics shop, somehow between delivery to Ford and our pickup, they disappeared. It will cost me approx 30 each to replace. Based on my experience and the reviews of others, I would not recommend this dealership - seems like they have customer service issues, poor employee performance and attitude and general disregard for their customers. My guess is they will get away with it for some time due to the lack of inventory as a result of COVID, desperate people do desperate things. However, when the market sways in time - they won't have enough stability or reputation to maintain any business. More

BEWARE! Stevens Ford is full of a bunch of CROOKS! Stay away, stay far away! Their service department sucks, they had my car for 9 days with no resolution. They made me get a rental car because they have n away, stay far away! Their service department sucks, they had my car for 9 days with no resolution. They made me get a rental car because they have no loaner cars. Full Disclosure, I purchased a 2016 Ford explorer brand new from Colonial Ford in Danbury CT because Stevens Ford Didnt have the car I wanted. I brought my car to Stevens Ford and purchased an extended warranty for $3,000 plus dollars. I brought my ford to Stevens for every single required/suggested maintenance from Zero Miles until my current 64k miles. I was getting some noise out of my front end and my high temp sensor was going off so I brought the car in. It turn out I need a water pump, shock seals, struts, engine mounts, control arms ext. They quoted me somewhere around 4k dollars for the repairs. Why am I so mad and angry and believe this dealer is full of a bunch of crooks? Because my car was in at 59,700 miles and was given the all clear, everything is fine. Now fast forward to now, 64k miles. 4k Miles outside of my powertrain warranty. This dealership told me my car was perfect when it was in there for a 700$ 60k mile service, then BAM as soon as its outside of the warranty they tell me about 4k dollars worth of parts that need to be repaird and my factory warranty expired at 60k and the extended warranty that I purchased covered none of the repairs. It is in my belief that the dealer knew exactly what was wrong with my car and they intentionally gave it back to me knowing that it would break outside the warranty period and they would make more money on my service. DO NOT DEAL WITH STEVENS FORD, DO NOT DEAL WITH FORD IN GENERAL, FORD CORPORATE WAS NO HELP AND TOOK OVER 9 DAYS FOR THEM TO CONTACT ME BACK WITH A RESOLUTION. BY THIS TIME I DECIDED TO DECLINE ALL OF THEIR HELP AND I WILL BE TRADING IN THIS xxx EXPLORER AND NEVER PURCHASING ANOTHER FORD AGAIN IN MY LIFETIME. IF YOU USE STEVENS FORD AND YOU GOT SCREWED OVER, DONT SAY I DIDNT WARN YOU. More
We needed to return a leased 2018 Ford Ecosport 5 moths early because we purchased an other vehicle from an other dealership so we were told that we need to talk to Craig M. Hajjar the sales manager to go early because we purchased an other vehicle from an other dealership so we were told that we need to talk to Craig M. Hajjar the sales manager to go over the options and process and when we showed up he did not even set down with us but he asked one of the sales personnel to go over the car so he asked us for a key and the car registration that we gave him. Upon his return he gave us back our license plate and disappeared. After a while since no one came to us I finally went to him and he gave me the return receipt and he wrote on it that we only gave back one key and wrote on the form that it was an additional $150 when in fact we had both keys. So at that time I left the second set of keys that I was going to give the second key when he would have came to us. I feel that we were disrespected and mistreated to the point where we never want to buy a car from Stevens Ford of Milford. More
Will and Craig are amazing. Welcomed with open arms, accepted being beat up on price and did everything they could to make the deal happen. I have spent many years in sales and in my experience if all accepted being beat up on price and did everything they could to make the deal happen. I have spent many years in sales and in my experience if all parties walk away with a smile a great deal has been made and such the case here. Great team, great experience!!!! More
Stevens Ford is and always has been the best Ford dealership I’ve ever had the pleasure of doing business with! Thank you Kim and Anthony in service for accommodating my father. They did what other s dealership I’ve ever had the pleasure of doing business with! Thank you Kim and Anthony in service for accommodating my father. They did what other service centers couldn’t and went above and beyond to ensure that his car would be fixed the right way the first time. I think it’s important that anyone reading these reviews knows that these are people you can trust wholeheartedly and no that they care about their customers well-being. Are there other service stations out there that may be cheaper sure but you get what you pay for . They may not always be the cheapest but they’re by far not the most expensive. Finally a special thanks to Mike Healey and and David Stevens for everything he has done for me and my family ! More
