The star is for the salesman, as he was the only thing worthwhile at the dealership. This is my 2nd attempt at attempting to purchase a vehicle. In 2018 I attempted to purchase a vehicle, own financing an worthwhile at the dealership. This is my 2nd attempt at attempting to purchase a vehicle. In 2018 I attempted to purchase a vehicle, own financing and was told "WE HAVE TO RUN your credit. I just needed a purchase order as I explained, my credit union is cutting your check. They said they needed to verify who I was?? So I see a brand new 2022 Tiguan and go back thinking they have changed their dishonest practices of wanting to run your credit and place a hard inquiry to solict other loans. They do this because the earn incentives even though you have approved funding or cash? So guess what happened 4 yrs later.... you got it. I was told "its company policy" of course they couldnt show me that policy in writing. I already knew VW's 4.9 % was out of line and no comparison to my credit unions 2.5% so there was no reason to entertain them searching other instituitions. Nevertheless I shook the salesman's hand as he was pleasant and professional as well as the manager. I drove to another VW dealership who sold me what I wanted and didnt have any issues with my request not to run my credit. If you arent aware please know, if you have already obtained financing or paying cash this dealership will unnecessarily submit your information regardless, basically making additional profit from your credit rating. My husband and I went to Stevens Creek Volkswagen to look at a new Atlas. We live in Santa Cruz, but the Santa Cruz Volkswagen dealership is awful, so for us it was worth the drive. The first day we met with at a new Atlas. We live in Santa Cruz, but the Santa Cruz Volkswagen dealership is awful, so for us it was worth the drive. The first day we met with Bang and he was wonderful! He showed us a few different Atlas’ and they were great but didn’t have exactly what I was looking for. It was late so we decided to come back the next day. When we came back, we worked with Alex and again, he was wonderful! He found a new Atlas with everything that I wanted. As we were talking he asked if I would be interested in a CPO lease return. I said yes and he showed us a top of the line Atlas with every bell and whistle. Since it was a lease return, it was close in price to the new lower model we had been looking at. We were sold! Alex made the negotiation process a breeze and never pressured us of made us feel uncomfortable. He was upfront and laid back the whole time. I would HIGHLY recommend making the trip to San Jose to go to Stevens Creek Volkswagen if you’re in the market for a VW. Everyone was so nice and professional. We’ll be making the drive to have our Atlas serviced here because they’re so great. More

After accepting they were dropping the price by $500 dollars, they dropped it another $300. After swallowing that pill and coming in to do the deal, they dropped the price another $32 and wouldn't budge. The whole process was frustrating and insulting, they are not trustworthy, and have no honor. The sales person we dealt with was Pete Rogers. Because they kept jerking us around, all they are getting is this 1 star review! More

From my experience, buying car was never a pleasant experience with all the haggling, arguing, and sales tricks. Easily, you can spend the entire day at the dealership and walked out frustrated and ex experience with all the haggling, arguing, and sales tricks. Easily, you can spend the entire day at the dealership and walked out frustrated and exhausted sometimes without the car that you want. But OMG…my recent experience at the Stevens Creeks VW was a total surprise! The experience with Stevens Creek VW was impressive from the beginning to the end of the buying process. It took around 3 hours from walking into the dealership to driving out with my new car!! Super efficient! Both Frank Spagnola and Greg Kimberley are awesome!! Highly recommended to do business with both of them at Stevens Creek VW. Below are some detail on my experience to share with the readers! I contacted a number of local dealerships for a 2013 VW GTI for the last few weeks. I was deciding between the Wolfsburg and Driver's Edition and received quotes from 5 dealerships. All the quotes were pretty competitive so the question was which dealership should I go to. I had numerous email exchange with Frank Spagnola at Stevens Creek VW and was impressed by his quick and non-pushy responses. His assistance Rachel in fact called me to follow up on the progress and both the email and phone conversation were very professional. In addition, as I heard numerous horror stories about bad VW dealerships and had experienced myself in a while back, I decided to do a little research across all the dealerships. I like the reviews on Stevens Creek VW, especially from numerous feedbacks on Frank. So I decided to go in and gave it a shot. Frank was going to be away so he informed me that Greg Kimberly would take over and help me with my needs at the dealership. I was a bit concerned as I had no experience with Greg and had no idea how he handled customers!! A quick research on the internet made me at ease - There are great reviews on how Greg treats his clients. When I arrived at the dealership, Greg greeted me with a friendly smile and warm handshake. We found the vehicle that I wanted and proceeded to do a test drive. Greg pretty much left us alone to experience the test drive with zero pressure. No sales pitch. No pressure. Just feel the ride and come back to the dealership when you are done! Of course, I loved the ride!! :) When we returned to the dealership, it's the moment of truth - Negotiation. To my surprise, the process was very smooth! They honored the quote from Frank over our email exchange. When I showed them the competitor's quote, Greg pointed out the slight differences in the option. But, in the end, Greg were able to pull it off and match the quote without pressure and all the haggle. Very professional!! After we shook hand on the final number and got done with all the financing detail, Greg had my new GTI filled up and patiently walked through all the features in the car with me. We walked in right before noon and walked out with my new baby around 2:30pm. Efficient and no time wasted on arguing and haggling!! If you want a VW hazzle-free car buying experience, I would highly recommend Stevens Creek VW dealership and ask for Frank and Greg. Happy Driving! More

I would give this dealership zero stars but the program forces me to choose at least one. I recently leased or thought I had leased a new CC. I submitted a credit application one week prior to heading over forces me to choose at least one. I recently leased or thought I had leased a new CC. I submitted a credit application one week prior to heading over to the dealership to look at the car. They said I was approved and sent me home with lease contract, and my new car. Two weeks goes by and I recieve a generic looking letter in the mail stating that they cannot find financing and I must return the vehicle. So I call the finance manager who lies to me and says that he never said the car was mine! Why would my name be on the registration of a car that isn't mine? He then goes on to say that if I want to buy a different car, or agree to a different down payment he can draw up a new financing contract. I thought they couldn't get financing for me, sounds like they are trying to make more money out of the deal. I am returning the now used car to them and will take my business to a legitimate dealership. I would recommend that everyone stay away from the crooks at this dealership. Bad business is not a good thing to practice in a slow economy, when plenty of other places are hungry for a sale. More
Summary: The sales supervisor was extremely rude. I hope they don't sell a single car through this time of recession. The first salesperson was nice enough. He showed us two cars. After the 2nd, when we to they don't sell a single car through this time of recession. The first salesperson was nice enough. He showed us two cars. After the 2nd, when we told the salesperson we were not buying a car that day, he called his supervisor to make some pressure on us. We then saw two more cars I was interested in. While I was sitting in the last one, I asked if he had a DVD so I could see how the navigation system worked. Te sales supervisor said it was something they don't have available until I buy the car. I said I was surprised and that it was a turn off for me not being able to test this feature. Turns out I had a good reason for wanting to do this (my BMW 3 series nav system feels sluggish / unresponsive, so I wanted to see how this one worked). It doesn't matter, because the sales supervisor didn't give me a chance to explain, he said something along the line of "being insulted" and walked away from us to enter the store basically leaving us at the door. We obviously walked away after this. I've never seen such a lack of touch in any car dealer, and I've seen quite a few dealers. The worse of this experience was the feeling of discomfort it left on us for the next few hours. I really was the one feeling insulted. More
