From the moment I arrived at the Stevens Creek Toyota Service departrment I felt welcome and confident that my car would be cared for and my service needs met for my 20K scheduled maintenance 9 AM appoin Service departrment I felt welcome and confident that my car would be cared for and my service needs met for my 20K scheduled maintenance 9 AM appointment. I also had a minor warranty issue to be addressed on an annoying side airbag cover panel that kept popping off. John Smith, the service tech that immediately greeted me, was very attentive and even though it was his first week working for Toyota, he had the needed service and people skills of a very experienced representative. His printer was not working and could not print out my work order but he handled that minor nuisance professionally and told me to go relax in lounge and he would bring a copy to me which he did promptly. My car was promised to be completed by 11 AM (longer then normal due to the warranty issue), which was fine for me as I had a movie to watch on my Kindle Fire and was delighted to see there were fresh donuts, bagels and cream cheese and of course free coffee. The very comfortable lounge also had several large flat screens to watch news or sports on making it an overall great waiting experience. My car was ready at 11:19, an acceptable margin of difference to the promised time. All work was completed as promised and the bill was about $20 less than expected; a nice surprise. I asked the service manager jokingly that greeted me before checkout, if they had also washed the car as they pulled it out and he discovered they hadn't and ordered it into the car wash...nice, one less thing for me to do that day! Finally, I always enjoy going in to pay my bill as Heather and the cashier staff are always courteous and in fact make paying a bill an enjoyable process and a fun visit. Bottom line is I look forward to my next visit in November which was scheduled in my email before I even left the premises. This dealorship seems rabid about making sure they meet your expectations and even exceed them and follow up with numerous emails of thank yous and survey requests. They truly set the bar very high for other Toyota service departments and far surpass their neighboring dealors on Stevens Creek I have visited who seem bothered by your presence when you come in for service or help. More
Changed synthetic oil on my Prius without appointment while I got lunch at nearby Togo's - $69.95. Washed very dirty car and checked tire pressure without charge. Rotation would have cost. Randy Burstein advised me to fix the sensor airbag light which was continuously on. He advised me of possible expenses before he proceeded with the work. The expense was minimal, and I feel safer knowing the airbag could possibly malfunction if not fixed. According to someone, it may have been okay not to fix it, but it bothered me just to see the light, and I would rather be safe than sorry. I am new to Toyota, as I recently bought one. My children have Toyotas, and I have watched the service they receive at Toyota. In my case, "the grass is greener" at Toyota so far. Again, Randy was superb. More

Others were not so friendly, would not even take the time to print out the free online coupon for you. It was on their own website. The little gestures means a lot. Eddie is the manager of the service department, he was also very professional and friendly. Have taken my car to Stevens Creek Toyota for everything, even changed my tires. They were very helpful and I will continue to bring my car into Stevens Creek Toyota for service. Will also buy my next car there for many generations to come. Let me say first that the simple fact there is a dealorship service department out there open on the weekends is a huge plus for us busy consumers who have trouble getting our cars in during the wee dealorship service department out there open on the weekends is a huge plus for us busy consumers who have trouble getting our cars in during the week. This was my first experince with this service department for my new Camry and even though the place was slammed due to a discounted 5K Superbowl special, the check in process was smooth and painless. I was a bit dismayed to hear it could take 2-3 hours even though I had an appointment, but I was prepared with my Kindle Fire and was able to connect to their wireless easily and watched a movie in their comforatble waiting room and drank plenty of their free coffee. I felt the attention to detail in caring for my care and making sure seat covers and floor protectors were in place to prevent stains was a nice touch and something not all shops have in place. The car was completed within the time frame the service rep said it would be at the estimated price which was a great deal for all service performed. Overall the experience was far better than I expected from start to finish. Even the cashier staff were extra friendly leaving me with a good impression and looking forward to coming back again soon. 2009 Toyota has been in the service department for electrical problems since day 1. 3 faulty batteries and two faulty sensors. Service department refuses to properly diagnose the problem and continues to guess at the problem. Vehicle was in the shop once for 5 days straight while they try and diagnose a bad battery. Their response to the battery problem was that it was probably dropped. Now the problem seems to be a faulty sensor. The vehicle has had three visits and two sensors replaced(same sensor). We are not waiting for the sensor or battery to go bad again so that we can return the vehicle to have it replaced yet again. It's about time to enact the lemon law on this Toyota. Knowing how faulty the vehicle has been we tried to get an extended warranty through this Toyota Dealership. I had shopped around for different quotes and was given three different quotes from other Toyota Dealerships. I took those quotes into the dealership and was told that they cannot meet or beat those prices. I explained that these are the exact same warranties through Toyota Financial that they offer and for our troubles they should have honored the quotes. Instead we were told to take our business elsewhere and that they wouldn't be able to match the price. The cost of the extended warranty through their dealership was $2400 and the quote I received from three other Toyota dealerships was 1/3 that cost. At that point I had lost all interested in bringing my business to their dealership and found their Service Manager and Customer Relations Person extremely rude and unwilling to work with an unhappy customer. Update 11/11/11: Asked the Customer Relations Person (Heather) on 11/9/2011 if she could please provide me the name and number of the GM of Stevens Creek Toyota as sell as the Regional Rep for Toyota in the Bay Area. I told her that I wanted to speak to them personally. Her response to me was that they were already aware of the situation. I responded back to Heather telling her that I still wanted to speak to them and if she could please provide me her General Managers name and number as well as the Regional Rep. Three days later and I have not received a response. Don't worry..I will eventually find out. Update: 11/14/11: Still no response from Heather from Stevens Creek Toyota on my request for the Managers name. So I just contacted Piercy Toyota and they were more than willing to provide me the information. I came into dealership to have my first servicing done. I was greeted right away by Kenny, will all smiles. I was told the service would take about an hour and a half so I went into the lounge. About 45 minutes later, Eddie came into the lounge to update me on the status of my service and walked me to my car. I didn't have to pay for service because service is complimentary with purchase of new Toyota. They even washed my car, nice touch. Only complaint...coffee was cold. More
Kenny has helped me on several visits and has always been friendly and helpful. Last time, I was running late, and he got my car in immediately and since a piece of the car just had to be reattached, he did friendly and helpful. He has always addressed all of my concerns about my car, and given me a written report about how each concern was evaluated and the recommendations. This is a great place for service! More
