I bought a 4Runner in 2021, $3k over MSRP. The front bumper is now peeling on one side. Two body shops indicated the bumper was painted before I took ownership. Steven’s Creek Toyota acknowledged this might have happened but they refused to stand by the vehicle and want me to pay thousands to have the bumper repainted. More
I told Luke by text on Aug 30 that I was on my way and he said he would be busy and he would have his partner mark pascual help me. I showed up at the dealer with my fiance and the guy mark pascual is eyebal said he would be busy and he would have his partner mark pascual help me. I showed up at the dealer with my fiance and the guy mark pascual is eyeballing her and asking her multiple questions. At first I didn't think anything of it because they are both of the same nationality. So then the mark takes us in another vehicle for about 30 minutes looking for the Prius Prime I originally told them I was coming to look at. You would think they would have it up front and available. This guy is driving us around in two parking lots very unprofessionally (reckless) and with the music very loud. Finally I see the Prius that was hidden behind the original building and we get out to switch cars. This guy mark once again is asking my fiance all kinds of questions that do not pertain to anything irrelevant to why we are there. Then when I ask him questions about the car he answers very short, like I'm bothering him. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL! Then my fiance tells him look its not for me it's for my fiance. Then out of nowhere he says are you going to use the car to be a Uber Driver. At that point I took my friend mark for a little ride on the freeway with him riding in the backseat. We sat down and I tried to get the lowest price I could get, but at that point he could have given me the car and I would have said xxxx NO! Too bad because I really like that car but unfortunately the sales person has no professional integrity. I definitely would NOT recommend stevens creek Toyota! More
In November me and my pregnant girlfriend bought a car from stevens creek Toyota in San Jose. In the beginning of March the transmission completely went out. They sold us a LEMON CAR. They are refusing to from stevens creek Toyota in San Jose. In the beginning of March the transmission completely went out. They sold us a LEMON CAR. They are refusing to do anything about it. Won't fix the problem, won't take the car back, won't give us our deposit back, won't get us into a new car at a discounted price. NOTHING. We got this car for a reliable family car. Now we have a 3 month old baby with no way of getting to work or doctor appointments. No funds to fix this extremely expensive problem that has our car in "totaled" status. We should have known something wasn't right about this transaction as soon the brakes went out the SAME WEEK we got it. I don't recommend anyone going to this location. Drive over the hill to the Santa Cruz Toyota instead where they actually care about their customers and their well being. I want a refund to take my business to Santa Cruz Toyota or at the very least a replacement in a car that will truly be reliable for my family. More

I had someone look at it to see what it was and they said the valve cover gasket was leaking and should be replaced, and possibly the spark plugs would need to be replaced as well. When they went in thinking they would replace it, they found this glue/silicone substance on the coils where clips should be and said they couldn't work on my car. The only place that has ever changed my spark plugs before was Stevens Creek Toyota, which is where I also bought the car. When I went to them and showed them pictures, at first they denied it, and said they'd need to talk with the techs. One of the Service Advisors told me their techs would NEVER do this and said, "how do we know someone else didn't do this? The last time we worked on it was a year and a half ago." I felt like he was accusing me of lying about it. It turns out they spoke with the tech who worked on my car and he said he didn't remember specifically, but they've seen this done before and if it was like that they would have put it back the way it was or they could have done it to make sure it held securely. Once that was shared, they finally agreed to fix the clips that were glued down and the service advisor apologized. I had to take it in for inspection, which found 4 out of 6 clips were glued. It took a week for parts to come in and then I was scheduled a week out from that. So it's been three weeks driving around with a leaking gasket. They agreed to replace the clips for free and give me a loaner car. I asked if they could fix the gasket and spark plugs for me as a courtesy. The manager never called me back and ignored my emails. My service advisor said there was no way they would do it for free and offered a discount. Their hourly service rate is $290 and he offered $40 off that. Not even half! The total for them to fix the gaskets and seals would be over $1400 and they didn't even give me an itemized quote! When I requested it, they sent and they claim it would take 5 hours to do the work when I was told by the previous mechanic (who couldn't work on it because of THEIR xx work) that it would take about 2 hours. I've been driving for weeks now, commuting from Tracy to San Jose with a small child. No other dealership or mechanic would even touch that part of my car, but they don't seem to care. I've copied Service Manager and the General Manager on every single email. Neither has ever responded, even when I wrote to them directly. This is one of the worst experiences I've ever had with a service oriented business. They are the reason dealership service departments have such a bad reputation. I just want to drive a safe and dependable car. They're trying to break the bank. More
The service department at Stevens Creek is absolutely wonderful. They recently repaired my Corolla Cross, which had an issue due to faulty service at a different dealership. Everyone at Stevens Creek was wonderful. They recently repaired my Corolla Cross, which had an issue due to faulty service at a different dealership. Everyone at Stevens Creek was professional and helpful, they communicated with me at every step and they ensured that the other dealership covered the costs of the repairs. I cannot thank them enough for all they did to make a difficult situation better. Everyone was great, but special thanks to Makan Ardalani and Adam Esquivel who really went above and beyond to help me. More

I have encountered a couple of employees who seem to give me attitude. One in particular likes to wear a vest and be a real smarta**. Acts like he runs the location but not sure of his actual title. Thinks he is a real tough guy because he gets to tell paying customers to move up in line, and then has a smarta** remark to add. Not acceptable. There are other Toyota dealerships and I suggest going to one other than Stevens Creek Toyota. Happy to elaborate more with the dealership. Would welcome the opportunity to tell them what I think of one of their employees. It would be a pleasure to see him. Bill More
