I went in to help my grandparents look for a used veh. we arrived there and everyone acted like they were so busy but in reality they were just standing around. i made an internet appt. and was being helped arrived there and everyone acted like they were so busy but in reality they were just standing around. i made an internet appt. and was being helped by "buzz". We wanted to look at a 2006 ford taurus with 31k on the clock. We looked at the veh and took it for a test drive. First thing I got in the veh i could tell somethings were wrong. 1. the shifter handle on the transmission had excessive play in it. ( a tall tail sign that the transmission had been removed) 2. put it in gear the the markings to tell you what gear your in are not lining up correctly ( refer to above statement ) 3. the transmission sliped badly twice so after test driving the veh we returned back to the dealership and the salesman asked how we liked it and how a great car it was and well i told him it did not go well at all I informed him that the transmission has been removed and replaced and some point in time. Well "buzz" proceeds to get an attidude with me and ask how do i know this. So i informed him and he was not happy. He became extremly agressive with me and my 70 yr old grandparents and told us we could just buy a new veh. well thats when i lost it and told him off and asked them what kind of product are they trying to sell people here. I mean this car had serious problems with it. We ended up telling him for pound sand and left the dealership. I will tell everyone never to visit this company or buy anything from them because they will try to take advantage of people who don't know what to look for. I am an ASE certified tech and service consultant and it was apparent that "Buzz" did not see the bright white patches on my sleeve!!! More
Let me tell you, this dealership is S-H-A-D-Y! It's good to see others' poor ratings of Steven Toyota because I am getting tired of seeing people get taken by their underhanded sales gimmicks. I don't under to see others' poor ratings of Steven Toyota because I am getting tired of seeing people get taken by their underhanded sales gimmicks. I don't understand why they remain so popular. Apparently people aren't taking a good look at what they're paying for. Tell me how selling a used car for 130% of its retail value is acceptable. It's unbelievable, and it happens more than you'd like to know. I think the worst scenario I saw was someone looking to purchase a 2002 Nissan Sentra that was worth about $9000 and they were asking $17000! I also know that they silently tack on extended warranties to unsuspecting customers, often the ones who don't speak English. This puts them thousands of dollars upside down on the vehicle as soon as they take it off the lot. One customer went back to complain that they were never disclosed what they were signing, and the employee basically told them that due to their stupidity, that sales person won a free cruise for meeting his sales goals. I know of people who have initially gone to Steven Toyota as sales people but eventually quit because their practices were so immoral. More
Was looking for a deal on a new truck. The two dealers I had gone to already as part of buying a Tacoma had been very nice and were easily willing to move on the price. I also wanted information of having s had gone to already as part of buying a Tacoma had been very nice and were easily willing to move on the price. I also wanted information of having some extra's installed and Steven Toyota was by FAR the most expensive. Cory was rude and arrogant and getting prices on the extra's was like a painful sunburn and took two hours for what I thought were simple things. Ended up buying at Mcdonough Toyota 20 mins away with a much better experience. I don't understand treating customers like crap just because they are from out of the area and are not likely to do service there. You are a new car store not a service station. More
When I bought my truck there was a set amount I was will to pay and a set amount I wanted for my trade-in. They said no problem for the cost of the truck but got the run around on the trade in. They aid t to pay and a set amount I wanted for my trade-in. They said no problem for the cost of the truck but got the run around on the trade in. They aid they would lose 1500 on my trade in and could not go any lower. I left the store and sold the old truck myself for 2000 more then I wanted for trade in. I later went back and requested the 1500 they were going to lose on the trade in. After all but admitting they were playing games on the losing 1500 they agreed to take 1250 off the price I was willing to pay before they tried to play games with me. The bottom line. If you are smart you can see through their games and get a good deal. I was happy and feel like I ended up 3250 better off. If you are looking for a low haggle place this may not be for you. Expect old school car sales here but in this information age it's a level playing field. More
Has Regional mark up on window of $1800 0n pickup trucks. Other dealers in area do not add this. Will have you sign to check credit before you even negotiate a price. Totally unnecessary. Will try to intimad Other dealers in area do not add this. Will have you sign to check credit before you even negotiate a price. Totally unnecessary. Will try to intimadate you by being loud in the negotiating process. You will have a credit check on your credit report after being treated rudely and never settling on a price. Unless you like to pay sticker. Oh they will take off the regional markup, but it should never be there to begin with. More
