Our friend negotiated a deal with this dealership via an employed salesperson. An agreed amount to 19,100.00 (out the door/no fees) with no processing fees was reached. My husband received a bill of sale for 19,439.80 which included a 301.00 processing fee. After a 3 hour drive and upon arrival to pick up the vehicle, the driver's side tire was found to be bald (and the other tires were in very poor condition). The pictures on the internet did not show the bald treads. We met at a sister dealership in Covington Virginia. When we mentioned this to them, they immediately helped us determine what type of tires they were. The tires were found to be a run-flat model that had been recalled. In addition, there were no tire places that stocked these specialty tires due to the price. Covington dealership immediately called Harrisonburg Nissan and told them what we had found, and that they didn't understand how the tires had passed inspection. Harrisonburg Nissan stated that they didn't know that this van had a PAX system with run-flat tires (even though it only took the Covington dealership 10 minutes to find out). Also, they said they didn't know the back tire was bald. At this point, they promised to buy us new tires and help pay for new rims (because these tires are in recall and new rims must be purchased with regular tires). Due to snowy conditions, we could not drive our van home, so we had to stay in a hotel nearby. Also, the driver's side mirror on the visor was broken and Harrisonburg Nissan agreed to send us a new part for it as well. They also promised to send us the second set of keys. No visor parts were ever sent (despite numerous reminder phone calls. The keys arrived 5 weeks later (after many phone calls). The check for the tires was $500.00 when the total cost will be over $1200.00. Numerous emails and phone calls were made. My husband spent many hours researching the best tires and cheapest rims available that best matched the van. We even sent quotes via email for the new tires. At this point, we will be pursuing legal action. This dealership should have known that this vehicle had these recalled tires. They also should never have passed these tires upon inspection. This is incompetency and false promising at it's best when it comes to a dealership. It's unacceptable, and I would never deal with this business again. More

2007 Versa bought in Aug 2011. Has been in the shop already 4 times for exhaust/muffler problems and this rattle that can't be fixed. 2 hub caps already broken off, button for side mirror control caved already 4 times for exhaust/muffler problems and this rattle that can't be fixed. 2 hub caps already broken off, button for side mirror control caved in, and weather stripping on passenger back door coming off. Before it falls apart driving down the road we are trading in for Toyota Matrix and will no choice but to eat the difference. Very unhappy at this lemon we were sold. Agreed on a price, the next day when we came to pick up all the sudden the terms changed. Should have taken that as our sign. Won't happen to me again, that much I know More
If you want a fair price, look elsewhere, you won't get one at Harrisonburg Nissan. Very friendly salesmen, but looking to get MSRP plus markup on an '06 Maxima in October??? These people either are hopefu one at Harrisonburg Nissan. Very friendly salesmen, but looking to get MSRP plus markup on an '06 Maxima in October??? These people either are hopeful some clueless rube comes into the showroom willing to throw any amount of money at a vehicle that is being heavily discounted at every other Nissan dealership or they have no idea about the market for their products. Maybe that's the reason they have a bigger inventory of '06 models on their lot this side of Northern Virginia. More
