Purchased a CPO Optima Hybrid from Ahmad at Steven KIA in February 2014. Ahmad ensured the vehicle was fully serviced, detailed and ready for my test drive. Extra kudos for him turning on the heat, heated seats and heated steering wheel—made for a very warm welcome! Steven KIA is a small dealership with few staff members despite the volume they sell. I would have appreciated reviewing the numbers of my deal (trade, specifically) before sitting down with the finance manager and having my credit pulled. I expressed to Ahmad that I wanted to complete this step first but that didn’t happen. In the end, I got the deal I was looking for, so no harm no foul. Had I not purchased the car due to unfavorable terms/ trade in, etc. I would have an unwanted inquiry on my credit report. After the numbers were worked out—and we both compromised (them more than me)—the rest of the process was painless. Dealer offered additional services but was not pushy. Ahmad spent time with me to explain the various features and pair my phone/ set up my navigation system but vehicle was only delivered with half a tank of gas. Based on Ahmad/ Dealer’s excellent customer service, quality of product and lower-than-usual processing fee, Steven KIA will be at the top of my list for future KIA purchases and services. More
I was driving from NY to my home in TN and my car broke down on the interstate in Harrisonburg, VA. It was Sunday, I had to spend the night in a hotel as the dealership was closed. The next morning I conta down on the interstate in Harrisonburg, VA. It was Sunday, I had to spend the night in a hotel as the dealership was closed. The next morning I contacted Steven Kia where my car was towed to. They told me they had my car and were working on it. I went to the dealership using their courtesy van and was told that my radiator cap was off on and my coolant had all spilled out and that caused my car to overheat. We paid $122.01 to them and left. 453 miles down the interstate my check engine light came on and the car started shaking. I called roadside and they towed me to another dealership who told me that my head gasket had blown and there was coolant in my oil. They replaced the head gasket and my car was tied up for almost two weeks. I called back to Steven Kia to ask for a refund on my $122.01 since they did not fix the problem. According to Matt the Service manager and son of Steven. They stand behind their work and refused to accept any blame stating that the notes on the report say my coolant cap was loose. (Wait, look back they said my cap was completely off) I asked if it was loose or off. He again stated it was loose. What happened was they put a band-aid on the car to avoid them from doing the 2 week repair job that should have been done. And now they refuse to pay me back my $122.01 that they charged me for not fixing a problem. I urge you to NOT do business with this company. They DO NOT stand behind their service work. Especially if you are just passing through. More

I've had 3 Kia's and didn't really want another. Not because they aren't great cars, but because we didn't want to have two at the same time. This dealership changed my mind because it is such a differe because they aren't great cars, but because we didn't want to have two at the same time. This dealership changed my mind because it is such a different buying experience. No back & forth between salesman & finance guy & they really seem to be doing best job to get you the best deal. Push for additional warranty packages was a bit stronger than had been in the past, which was midly annoying, otherwise I would have given a perfect score. More

I went in to look at a 2013 Kia sportage. I test drive a black sx and loved it. When I went to get my vehicle appraised for the trade in, found out they sold the black one, but had a red ex model. Chris tol black sx and loved it. When I went to get my vehicle appraised for the trade in, found out they sold the black one, but had a red ex model. Chris told me it was a 1000 more than the other one. I fell in love with it only to find out it was almost 4000 more. Matt spoke to me and my dad and got a perfect deal worked out. I got the car I've been wanting! I would have rated higher, but didn't appreciate being lied to that much. Many thanks to Matt and Michael. More
