Purchasing experience was probably the most pleasant thing at this dealer. The trouble started even during warranty/service covered time. Their friendliness, and willingness to help w/anything that is thing at this dealer. The trouble started even during warranty/service covered time. Their friendliness, and willingness to help w/anything that is the dealers responsibility was really horrible, and this was not only 1 time experience. Same happened on repeated visits. After the warranty is out - would NOT ever visit this dealer. For the same reason I would have really hard time recommending anybody to this dealer - which is shame b/c their sells team was actually very pleasant. Their horrible service is NOT worth saving $500 +- so. More

My overall experience at Steve White Volkswagen was excellent! I am so very pleased with my new Eos. A few weeks went by before I actually visited the dealership. At that time, Grover Fitzgerald met me and answered my specific questions about the EOS and took me on a test drive. Grover then worked diligently to locate a car in the color, both exterior and interior, I wanted. The Saturday I visited Steve White was a very busy day and Grover's hospitality was exceptional; he was a cordial host and entertainer extraordinaire! Steve White gave me a trade-in value on my old car that exceeded my expectations; I had compared the various trade-in estimates using Kelly Blue Book, Edmunds, Black Book Online and Auto-Trader online. After meeting with Grover, I then met with Christian Vicino; he handled the paperwork expeditiously and he patiently explained the various documents I signed and answered my questions. When I picked up my car, Grover, again, gave me a thorough introduction to the car and its features; it was like a one-on-one tutorial! Again, a very positive experience in buying a new car! Driving my car with the top down is a WONDERFUL experience! More

I had an exceptional experience with Grover Fitzgerald at Steve White. I was looking for a Routan and where I'm from they had about four to choose from. I researched on Auto Trader and found Steve White and called. Grover explained to me what they had with features and colors available. They had over fifteen to choose from it was awesome. Then I told him I would be driving four hours to visit the dealership and he assured me that if I found something it could all be accomplished in one day and it was in just a few hours. Were really happy about our purchase and the price was less than in Knoxville Tn. Grover Fitzgerald was exceptional I had been to three dealerships and couldn't believe how differnt he was from the other sales people I never felt pressured to purchase and he was patient. Thanks again to Steve White for making my family so happy! More

first of all, Will Gillespie is by far the BEST employee at Steve White VW. he was the ONLY employee that was helping me, AND MULTIPLE customers AT THE SAME TIME. everyone else was sitting around playing wi at Steve White VW. he was the ONLY employee that was helping me, AND MULTIPLE customers AT THE SAME TIME. everyone else was sitting around playing with their cell phones. and Christian, the Finance Manager kept me at the dealership for 5 HOURS, making me think everything was good, then all of a sudden, after ALL the paperwork has been signed, Christian: "oh. we can't get ahold of anybody." he had me thinking everything was good. if you can't get ahold of anyone, WHY WOULD YOU EVEN OPEN YOUR DOORS? NOW, i have to wait 3 DAYS before I can even get approved, which I was in the first place. STEVE WHITE VW IS THE WORST EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD, BUYING A CAR. 5 HOURS OF MY DAY OFF, WASTED. AND MY CREDIT SCORE WENT DOWN, BECAUSE THEY RAN A CREDIT CHECK, now I'm screwed out of that. i WOULD NOT COME TO THIS VW DEALER, EVER. save yourself some TIME and MONEY and take your business elsewhere. Great experience. Called in for a 2011 Jetta with specific options. Ron was able to get the right price and get all the paperwork, trade in, and the Jetta from a dealership in North Carolina to my ga specific options. Ron was able to get the right price and get all the paperwork, trade in, and the Jetta from a dealership in North Carolina to my garage in 18 hours. That's phenomenal, best service received at over 15 dealerships by Ron and nearly everyone else at Steve White. The price for the Jetta was excellent, and when we requested floormats to buy, Ron threw in floor mats that he had personally(not the dealership, his personal item) but wasn't using for free. Ron also changed the licence plate for us and held some items we accidently left in the trade in for us to come back and pickup. The value we got for the trade in was very, very fair, meeting/exceeding all estimates. The prompt work and desire to go above and beyond by Ron Johnson has actually significantly changed my previously held opinions of car dealerships in general, Ron get's straight 5's and needs to be recognized for excellence. A big gripe I have is the shady practices of Christian Vicino. He's the only reason this review is not straight 5's. Christian was friendly and enthusiastic when he began the process of getting us financing. After settling on a loan period/APR rate, Christian began the "usual" dirty car dealer tricks. He attempted to sell us the highest possible plan for an extended warranty. When I questioned him on the difference between the plan levels, his answer was that only the platinum plan (the most expensive by far) was worth having. I pointed to an official Volkswagen poster in his office, and he said it was wrong (interesting, the official 2011 VW warranty program poster is wrong.) I then asked what was different in the platinum plan that made it worthwhile, he just said there were too many to name, he didn't want to waste time. This was minor, my real issue with Mr. Vicino is his outright lying. He claimed if we bought the warranty and didn't use it, there would only be a $50 fine, we'd get the rest of the money back. I called VW HQ to confirm, and they said this is not true, because they have to make money through the warranty program somehow! Needless to say, we didn't go with the fools gold Christan was peddeling. Christian Vicino is the opposite of Mr. Johnson, and I hope he learns some valuable lessons from him. The dealership itself is a modern, clean building. Front Office staff was friendly. Drinks/popcorn was standard dealer fare. Good response time to online contact/phone calls. Overall, other than the finance manager, this is an ideal dealership. More
