Chevrolet Complimentary Service I asked the service dept. to look into a couple of several concerns I have with my 2018 Silverado. One concern I have is that the heating system does I asked the service dept. to look into a couple of several concerns I have with my 2018 Silverado. One concern I have is that the heating system does not produce heat on a lower setting, even on cold days below 30 degrees. Another issue is that the system would occasionally and suddenly produce a high amount of heat without a change in the settings. Upon service completion, the service technician called and indicated that the system simply does not produce heat on the lower settings. When asked what setting the system would need to be on to produce heat, the technician could not provide a definitive answer. I asked for further information on the operation of the system and was provided with none, although he stated that it would be e-mailed to me. In addition, when I made the appointment, I asked that the technicians troubleshoot a noise that intermittently occurs behind/below the dash. The noise appears to be random, but may possible be tied to the fuel delivery system. When I asked the technician if he determined anything regarding the noise, it was indicated that he knew nothing about it. Thus, I guess the service request was not relayed to him. Again, he indicated that he would look for information related to this noise concern and get back to me, which has not happened. The one good thing I can say is that the people I was in contact with were nice and seemed willing to help. However, being willing to help and actually helping are two different things. I assume everything went okay with the standard oil change. More
