I contacted a number of dealers over the internet and Steve Lewis Subaru responded quickly and understood exactly what I was looking for. The whole negotiation was done by email. Other dealers said someone would get back to me or responded in ways that was not specific to my inquiry. Myron and Mike did not wast my time with games and found a way to cut through the BS and get my car at the price I wanted to pay. I had the car in a couple of days and they delivered it to my home with a full tank of gas. And I don't even live in Massachusetts. Steve Lewis introduced himself during my visit and I can see why the staff is so friendly and accommodating. Steve is easy to recognize - just look for the guy wearing Bermuda shorts. I drove into service my 2006 Subaru Impreza (124,000 miles) and left in a 2011 Subaru Impreza. I decided to look around the lot while waiting and was joined by Todd. No presure from him -full of information- took me for a ride -sold. He knows his Subarus! Walked me through the bells and whisltes on my new vehicle. He dealt with 2 other customers while waiting for my paperwork (who were a bit trying) in a very caring and professional manner. Another important reason for returning to Steve Lewis is the service I have experienced -outstanding -actually find the same people still working there even after 3 years!!! This time I met the owner himself who stopped by Todd's desk - very friendly - casual in his bermuda shorts! Good place to do business. More
I was greeted by Larry when I arrived and after a few minutes I new I was in good hands. His outgoing and positive attitude made me feel very comfortable, not to mention his patience. After several test drives and conversations about my budget and what I wanted, Larry helped me to pick the right car. Once the sale was complete he gave me a day and time to pick it up and it was infact ready when he said it would be. I do believe if it weren't for his eagerness to help me out I wouldn't have purchased my vehicle. I ended up with a 2007 Subaru Impreza 2.5 and absolutely love it! I was able to purchase it in the color I wanted with the All Weather Package which now makes me a little excited to see snow! I cannot wait to see how this vehicle will handle. My son has owned a Subaru for about 5-6 years and has always raved about how it moves going around corners and that it is exceptional in bad weather. His wife recently bought a Legacy and his mother-in-law bought a Forester, all from Steve Lewis Subaru. They have commented about the good service they received and they each had different salespeople! I have now joined this special group. We are a true Subaru family! Both Joe Clark and Todd Gerry were very helpful from helping me to pick out the right car to final delivery. I bought a beautiful Subaru Forester and Myron worked with me and for me, every step of the way. Thanks to Myron, I have the perfect Subaru for me. My husband and two adult children admire it as well! I tried the Toyota Rav4, the Toyota Matrix, the Ford Escape and the Ford Edge...then I tried the Subaru Forester and it felt like the perfect choice. I was poised to try the Honda CRV, but when I met Myron and drove the Subaru, I stopped looking. I liked the smaller size of the Forester, with the remarkably spacious interior but even more than that...I liked the sincere personality of my Salesperson! Myron sold me on the Subaru with his honesty and his willingness to help me make the best deal! Steve Lewis Subaru is very fortunate to have Myron as one of their team. Myron is clearly an asset to the Steve Lewis sales team and Myron is a good fit, since Steve Lewis takes pride in its GREAT customer service...and Myron knows how to deliver great service. He was very patient with my deluge of e-mails and telephone calls. He responded quickly with good information and his e-mails were enjoyable to read. Myron pays attention to details like correct spelling and punctuation when he writes back to you...something I admire and appreciate as a teacher! Now let me take a moment to brag about our choice of the Subaru Forester 2.5 X Premium with all Weather Packaging. I wanted "heated seats," so Myron chose a Forester with the All Weather Package. I didn't want the expense of leather but I did want "heated seats!" Myron was quick to point out that the Subaru car company has heated cloth seats! My old 2004 Toyota Highlander had leather heated seats and guess what folks...heated cloth seats...are much cozier and you save a cow! The Subaru company is very environmentally conscious with their PZEV (Partial Zero Emissions Vehicle)so I guess it isn't that surprising that they give the consumer the opportunity to spare the cow! The moonroof...they call it a "panoramic moonroof" and it is quite wonderful! Even on a rainy day your car can be lightfilled! The Subaru Forester has five star crash ratings and it feels safe and solid when you are driving it...even while closing the doors you can hear and feel that you are purchasing a quality automobile. My Subaru is the lovely White Satin Pearl color...and it sparkles in the sunshine. The Subaru slogan is, "Love. It's what makes Subaru, a Subaru!" and I am already there with a mere 100 miles on my car. I love my Subaru and I love the good feeling I have about purchasing my Subaru from Myron Callender at Steve Lewis Subaru in Northampton, Massachusetts.
