Before I went to Steve Lewis, I went to another dealer in the area. They were very high pressure and not as friendly. Steve lewis Suburu was a great experience. Since I bought my vehicle, I have been back for service and again Dave went out of his way to see that my car was given the best service. The service department was also very nice. I have already shared my positive experience with my co-workers, and one is going to go there to inquire about a purchase. I gave the rating because this experience was really the way I like to be treated, and even though I was not purchasing a new car, I felt that my business was appreciated and I can not imagine a better experience when purchasing a car. Myron is a very pleasant young man, and the entire staff made buying the car an easy experience. The financial guy was also pleasant and didn't push absurdly hard about the packages. I do wish I'd thought to drive this particular car before I bought it because there's a slight clunking noise with the brakes that is irritating in a new car. That was my oversight, though -- not the fault of the staff. I'll be glad when Steve Lewis Subaru moves to its new location, since getting in and out of there is a particularly fun experience. -- Nancy More

The terms of the sale, including service agreement, shuttle service option and loaner car if my car needs to be in their shop someday are extras that made a difference in my deciding to buy the car there. The managers who dealt with price and loan options were also respectful and informative and willing to work with me to make the deal worth my while. Working in the hill towns of MA can be taxing in the winter time. Knew it was time for an all wheel drive I can depend on to get me through tough winter drives. I did my online researched and discovered a few potential vehicles that fit my prerequisites. So I went down King St. in Northampton to all the Lia Dealerships, and no one bothered to come out and assist me, even when I was there for a good 20 minutes. That put me off, and decided to check out Steve Lewis Subaru on Damon Rd. Within the first 5 minutes, I was greeted by Dave Hanks. He proceeded to assist me in a way where I felt incredibly comfortable, and completely in control. He showed me a Subaru Forester with all the "bells and whistles" as they say, and informed me of every little aspect of a car I wouldn't think to ask, but would wonder about later. I loved the vehicle, but didn't want to settle so easily. Decided to check out Bertera Subaru in West Springfield, where I was also greeted within the first 5 minutes, but definitely felt pressured and pushed around, to the point where a dealer was trying to convince me to buy a car I had no intention of wanting. I went back to Steve Lewis Subaru (where they remembered me), Dave was busy, but a number of other employees stepped up to the plate and assisted me in taking another test drive and answering every question I posed. So, right then and there, knowing this was the car I wanted and the dealership I felt deserved and earned my business, I went with the 2008 Subaru Forester X Premium. They offered a fair trade-in value for my 2002 Honda Civic, the negotiations on a price were game-free, the paperwork was painless, and they offer free tires for life if you choose their dealership to do all your vehicle servicing. Concluding, this was the best car shopping experience I've ever had, and I thank Dave Hanks for making it that. And when I went to pick up my car yesterday, they informed me that my monthly financing amount decreased 5 bucks. Every little bit counts, and I was happy the folks at Steve Lewis Subaru went above and beyond to deliver solid and exceptional customer service. More

I've been dealing with Steve Lewis for at least three cars purchased. The dealership is always clean, everyone is friendly. As far as the service dept. they go out of their way to accom. you.
