Let me start by saying, "What a great experience"! I was a devoted customer to a former Subaru Dealership and when it came time to buy my third subaru from them they would not take that i experience"! I was upset.They gave me a trade-in value for the Subaru for which I was going to trade in and that was all! I was not offered anything all I got was the brush off! They could'nt be bothered with me, how humilating! Well, I decided to go to Steve Lewis Subaru in Northampton,Ma the next day. It's out of my way but, it can't to go and talk to someone. I was greeted very promptly. I was amazed how all the staff is so happy and upbeat to all of thier customers and among themselves. I am so pleased with the way i was treated with the respect and dignity. They listened to me. I got everything I wanted in a vehicle(and more) They really are aimed to please.They will work with you." What a great bunch of guy's!!! I am happy to say, for a woman walking into any dealership can be scary and intimidating but, that's not the case at Steve Lewis. I felt so at ease and very comfortable. I'm extremely happy with my new car. It drives great and is in excellent condition. I do think it could have been just a little lower in price, but I'm not unhappy. I went in for an education on two different models and got lots of information that helped me make my decision. He helped me decide what my family needs were and how to get the options that I wanted and d got lots of information that helped me make my decision. Everyone Went above and beyond to ensure we were happy with our new (used) car. Not only were they great professionals interested in meeting our car needs, they were also very friendly and eager to help, with our new (used) car. I was impressed with the time and attention I was given as I purchased my 2011 Subaru Legacy from Steve Lewis Subaru in Northampton, MA. John Acadia was very helpful sharing his personal knowledge of the as I purchased my 2011 Subaru Legacy from Steve Lewis Subaru in Northampton, MA. John Acadia was very helpful sharing his personal knowledge of the Legacy as we took a test drive in the rain which was great weather for displaying the potential of this car. The research I had done with Consumer Reports made the Legacy one of my top 3 choices,but my experience with John and the Steve Lewis staff solidified my decision. The final paperwork for my purchase was handled in a professional, thorough, and speedy manner which I appreciated. When I returned to Steve Lewis's service department for installation of my bluetooth kit last week, John who was just walking through the waiting room greeted me by name as I waited and inquired about my satisfaction and the progress of the installation making the Legacy the perfect car for my needs. I knew i wanted a Subaru, but wasn't sure which dealer. I called Steve Lewis Subaru, they were the most convenient for me. He was excelent, and I've been in sales management for 35 years myself, he showed me all the options on the 2011 Outback premium, answered all my questions honestly, this was my first Subaru, so I had a lot of questions. We sat down with Byron , went over the pricing, bounced a couple of things up to Joe, and that was it in one meeting. I got a good feeling about the place, a good price for what I got, and had a little fun in the process. When I picked up the car the next week, everything was set: plates, sticker, insurance, warrenty, and a full tank of gas (18.5 gallons!). The owner Steve happen to walk by, introduced himself, and told me if I ever had any issues, to let him know. I told him I appreciated it but he had a good crew and I didn't think I would have to, but I thought that was a class thing to do, although it seems small, it is reassuring. Love the car. I showed my daughter in law over the weekend, she was looking for a new car. I gave her Todd's #, I usually don't do that but I knew how he was as a person. I didn't get involved with the visit, deal, I wanted it to be her choice. She called me that night with my son and told me they bought a new Outback! Made my day. More
Purchased a 2010 Impreza sedan with 15,000 miles. The car had a small dent on R side door and blemish on passenger dash panel, which were both fixed or to be fixed with sale. But when picking up car, wa car had a small dent on R side door and blemish on passenger dash panel, which were both fixed or to be fixed with sale. But when picking up car, was handed only one key. We were told there was only one key for the car, and as it was being sold "as it", we would have to pay for the 2nd key. As you know, it is very easy to lock the key in the car with subaru, therefore a 2nd key is imperative to have. We were disappointed that that was overlooked, and not included in the price. Otherwise, no problem with vehicle. More
