From the moment I got to Steve Lewis Subaru to when I picked up the car the staff were excellent and treated me great. David Hanks was very accommodating and friendly. He was honest and definitely knew the it was the car I wanted and did everything he could to make sure I was satisfied and have me on the road the next day. We went to Steve Lewis looking for a Legacy. Todd and Michael were both quite friendly, made us feel very comfortable. The experience was "all about us"! Our salesman, John Acadia, was thorough. He made sure all of our questions were answered and we got more car than we had planned on for a lower price tha salesman, John Acadia, was thorough. I stopped at Steve Lewis Subaru after seeing one of its fresh flower-bedecked Foresters leading the annual Bridge of Flowers race in Shelburne Falls. Steve Lewis Subaru was one of the sponsors of the race this year. I pointed to the Forester and said to a friend "I want that car". The following day, as I was pricing used cars in Northampton lots, my vehicle, with 156,000 miles on the odometer, broke down and had to be towed back to Shelburne Falls. I always purchase used cars and with that goal in mind drove to Steve Lewis Subaru in a borrowed car the following day. I fully intended to look at used cars, not necessarily to buy anything. I sought out Todd Gerry who I have known for many years. Without the slightest "push" from him I decided to purchase a brand new Forester. Probably a bit shocked at the short amount of time that had passed between my entering the dealership and committing to the puchase, Todd was great to work with as was Myron and everyone else I interacted with that day and the next day when I picked up the car. Arranging financing was easy as was every other part of the transaction. I would highly recommend Steve Lewis Subaru....and Todd... and already have! The only real problem I encountered was the dealership location. Getting into traffic on Damon Road is, quite frankly, a bad dream. My wife and I recently stopped by Steve Lewis Subaru to look at Outbacks. We were really just looking for information and maybe a test drive. We decided to walk in and get some information about a Limited 2.5 Outback that caught our eye. We were greeted by Todd Gerry who was very pleasant and knowledgeable. He ran some numbers by me and I had some questions which he promptly directed to his sales manager, Myron. No going back and forth between sales and managers. What a concept. Over a period of two days I was kept up to date with timely information without pressure. Steve Lewis introduced himself to me the day before I signed on the dotted line and I immediately felt like I was in the right dealership. I have bought over 60 cars in my lifetime, so I feel as though I have enough experience with dealerships to say, this was one of the most pleasurable experiences I have ever had buying a new car. Needles to say, I am now a proud owner of a 2011 Subaru Outback Limited 2.5. More
