I recently traded cars at the Steve Lewis Subaru Dealership in Northhampton Massachusetts. I feel compelled to make the following statement with regards to that action. My salesperson for this action was Todd Gerry who, in my opinion,is the most outstanding, caring, and considerate individual that I have ever been priviledged to deal with in any field of buying and selling. I have been buying and trading vehicles for more than sixty-five years and never have I felt so secure in that I was getting the best possible deal. Todd is a man who goes beyond the boundries of good salesmanship to absolutely insure that the customer gets the fullest possible attention to all details in which they might be interested. Throughout the entire process I never once felt pressured to hurry up and buy, but rather he made sure that I was fully aware of all the ins and outs and willingly spent extra time in making sure my questions and concerns were were answered to my satisfaction. It is my considered opinion that there are few, if any, who can compare with this honest, considerate and knowledgeable person in the field he has chosen to serve. More
I went to Steve Lewis because my car had 185k miles and I felt it was time before things started to go wrong. I love the product, this is my third Subaru. Overall, this was a great experience. I made an appt to meet with a different salesman, who wasn't there when I arrived and I ended up having to wait quite awhile for someone to be free to help me. This was the only negative in my experience. Test drove a car, and bought it. The price was fair, everyone was very professional. The next day when I went to pick up my new car, I found out that these guys change the oil, put on new break pads, fill up the gas tank and put four new tires on your car! That's going above and beyond in my opinion. The whole experience was very easy and I have already recommended them to others. More
Did not buy a new car, did not even buy a Subaru, however, all the time I spent inside the dealership, I witnessed one of the best sales force at work to make the customer feel as comfortable and wit however, all the time I spent inside the dealership, I witnessed one of the best sales force at work to make the customer feel as comfortable and with that "feel at home" as possible. Everyone involved in my purchase was very friendly, courteous, and generous in providing all the information needed to make a well informed buying decision. The fact that I was buying a used non-Subaru vehicle did not affect in any way the quality of service received. Steve must be proud of his sales force and on his choice in sales manager for this dealership. Thanks to all of you! Miguel More

John Arcade walked us through the new vehicle patiently, answered every question in detail, showed us every little feature of the car -- and there were many that were new to us -- walked us through the manual, and seemed willing to spend the entire night answering questions if we wanted to. We felt we had made two new friends, and would certainly revisit this dealership for another car. More

Over the years I have dealt with many car dealers and their salesman. I have seen my share of interesting things on dealer lots which had always dissuaded me from buying a new vehicle and stick to privat their salesman. I have seen my share of interesting things on dealer lots which had always dissuaded me from buying a new vehicle and stick to private sales when ever possible. After doing research for a newer vehicle at various dealerships on the internet I decided to go and visit Steve Lewis Subaru as they seemed to have the best options as well the safest vehicles I believe I could ever drive. My experience surprised me. I had no idea I would pull in there and receive hassle free - one stop shopping. The staff were very pleasant and patient, answering my myriad of questions with test drives, lot walks etc., helping me clearly see my options. They worked diligently to get me the best interest rate and financing possible allowing me free myself from the used vehicle market, build my credit and purchase new! I had no idea that within a few hours at Steve Lewis Subaru this would be the result - a new 2011 Forester. Looking back at this experience I am grateful I went there. The process was streamlined and simple. I cannot say thanks enough to John and all the great folks whom make this dealership possible. Bless.... If only I had met you years ago. More
This is my first visit to Steve Lewis Subaru and I can only say great things! I was in search of a pre-owned Legacy GT which are rare to find. I had a great experience at Steve Lewis Subaru. The sales people were very low pressure, which was a welcome change from sales people I had dealt with at other dealerships. Buying a car can sometimes be a painful process. Not so at Steve Lewis Subaru. I can't say enough good things about them. Everyone is friendly without being pushy. And lastly, Todd Gerry is probably one of the nicest people that I've met. He was very patient, extremely thorough and knowledgeable regarding my Forester. I thought he did a great job explaining everything. Overall, I had a really positive experience and would recommend Steve Lewis Subaru to anyone looking to buy a Subaru. More
