Hello Ma’am and Sir, Any potential customer providing us feedback, whether positive or negative, is greatly appreciated and we thank you for telling us about your experience. We attempt to meet and exceed every customer expectation on a daily basis, and unfortunately it seems as though we’ve fallen short of our goal. After reading the review, I can see how we’ve improperly translated trade values based on the numerous guides the industry provides to both dealers and consumers. Steve, our Internet Coordinator, utilized the online tools many consumers reference when determining potential trade in value, and quoted figures based on that information. In this instance, the perceived trade value and actual value had some significant differences, and understandably came across as misleading. These scenarios are the exact reason we try to avoid quoting trade values over the phone or internet, yet are sometimes forced to do so per customer request. We appreciate the opportunity to earn your business. As you may have seen by other reviewers on dealerrater.com, we go to great stride to put customer service as our first priority. In some instances, looking at websites like autotrader.com can be helpful showing how trade values and the marketplace fluctuate, and thus help customers make informed decisions. There are many ways to alter search criteria on these sites, which could have provided you with different results at home. With all respect, we do appreciate you reaching out to us, and although we cannot put a dollar figure on the travel time to visit us, we’d like to fill your gas tank for your troubles.
