At that point, my husband and I had decided we wanted to buy a new car but hadn't totally decided on what make. I had been driving a 2006 Corolla which I had an excellent experience with, but over the years the interior of the Corolla did not meet the quality of what I had in my 2006 Toyota. We wanted to look at getting a different style of vehicle, and we had three different manufacturers in mind, including Toyota. We had the opportunity to test drive a 2012 Subaru Outback prior to our visit to Steve Lewis. The quality and ride was leading us to buying a Subaru for the first time in our lives. When we walked into the Steve Lewis dealership, we were met by Justin Grzegorzewski, one of the sales representatives. Justin was friendly and eager to serve us. We went for another test drive of the 2012 Outback, and it was a fantastic vehicle. We knew we really liked this car but still had some issues to take into consideration. Did we want to look at other cars? Would we get what we wanted for our 2006 Corolla as a trade-in? Did we want to buy from Steve Lewis Subaru because it was farther from home? We went back into the showroom and sat down with Justin. He was very in tune to what we wanted in the Outback, and he came up with a figure that was close to a quote from another dealership. We told Justin what we would like for our trade-in, and he went to speak with his Sales Manager, Joe Clark. Both Justin and Joe returned to us shortly, confirming the price Justin gave us and agreeing to match the trade-in from the other dealership. We did not feel pressured and felt we needed to weigh the benefits of buying here or somewhere else. We were assured that we could get back in touch with them in a few days, and the offer would still stand. Wow! That has not been our experience in the past dealing with other dealerships. It is very frustrating and upsetting to feel pressured when shopping for a new car, and this was opposite to our experiences over the years. We left the dealership, and our discussion with Justin and Joe definitely was our conversation all the way home. We seriously took some of the information about the Outback and Steve Lewis Subaru into our decision making. We discussed the value of the .9% financing for 3 years, dealing with a business that has an excellent reputation, and the availability of service hours that would not be a deterrent to driving a little farther than going to a dealership closer to home. Lastly, the fact that we were not high pressured which gave us the opportunity to come to all of the above conclusions was very important. We contacted Justin the next day, told him we wanted to do business with his dealership and by Wednesday evening we were driving away in our new 2012 Subaru Outback. We want to thank Justin Grzegorzewski, Joe Clark, Mike Teixeira, Jesse Bilodeau, and the other sales personnel we came in contact with who provided us with a pleasant and enjoyable experience in the purchase of our first Subaru vehicle. A well-deserved thank you is also extended to Mr. Steve Lewis, who made himself available to meet us. Mr. Lewis, you have a great philosphy you have passed on to to your staff that is quite evident to those coming in to do business at Steve Lewis Subaru. We love our new Outback, and we will be happy to recommend Steve Lewis Subaru to all our family and friends! More

I had had a bad experience at another local dealer in I had had a bad experience at another local dealer in West Springfield MA, and was very surprised at how wonderful everyone I came into contact with I had had a bad experience at another local dealer in West Springfield MA, and was very surprised at how wonderful everyone I came into contact with at Steve Lewis was. I was not pressured. I was treated extremely well every time I was there. The first day I went I told everyone I was just there to test drive and I was not buying, they were still very helpful, sat me down just to see what I was looking for in a car and took me for a test drive. I ended up buying a Subaru Impreza Sport from them and love it. I would refer anyone I knew to this dealer. More

This is how a new car purchase is suppose to happen. They were very patient, fit our schedule into their schedule. Opposed to the other area dealers, we never got the "you have to sign before you walk out th were very patient, fit our schedule into their schedule. Opposed to the other area dealers, we never got the "you have to sign before you walk out the door" pressure from them at all. It was a very seamless transaction with them. I am a self employed contractor and always hesitate to refer another business to a client, however I would not think twice to refer Steve Lewis Subaru to someone looking for a new car. Much thanks. We were looking to compare several different used vehicles and Peter was very knowledgeable about the differences between them even though they weren't all Subaru's. We ended up purchasing a used Toyota Highlander they had on the lot which suited our needs very well. Peter was pleasant and helpful. One thing we weren't too happy with is that when we looked online the price was $1000.00 less than the price we were quoted at the dealership. Peter did negotiate a better price for us which we were satisfied with. More
In 2010 I purchased a new Forester. I was delighted with Steve Lewis Subaru then, friendly, accomodating and willing to listen to any concerns I had regarding my new Forester. They took care of me with respect and were not condescending when maybe my questions, requests or concerns seemed silly. Early Saturday morning in March 2012 I went to have my regular service done and began to think about trading in my 2010 Forester for a 2012 to keep up the value of the car and the money I invested into it. I loved my Forester so much, the thought of anything different did not appeal to me at all. I asked the gentleman at the service desk what time the salesmen arrived. I was glad to find out that they arrived so early on a Saturday and it would save me a trip during the week to speak to someone about trading it in. I wanted the exact same Forester, just a new model. John was very helpful to meet my needs and found what I wanted in Vermont!! I did my best to get a good deal, of course, and John and Mike were very nice and tried to meet my financial ideals. It took time, but I liked that, I did not feel rushed at all. The experience has been so good that the following Monday I sent my parents to Steve Lewis to speak to John Acadia. My dad is not well, he has cancer, and is not long for this world, he wants to make sure he gets a good dependable car for my mother so that it will be one less thing she has to worry about. They checked things out and plan on returning to buy a Subaru soon. I must add that the new facility is lovely and very comfortable. The location is a little further but totally worth the few miles! We located Steve Lewis Subaru in Hadley, plus two other dealers closer to our town, through BJ's Auto Buying service. We asked each to quote on an identical car. Steve Lewis's reply was closest to what we had asked for, included all costs, and was overall the best price. Dealings with both Joe Clark, the sales manager, and Todd Gerry, the salesman, were professional and forthright, and consistent with the quote given earlier. Todd's follow-up after the sale to resolve issues with a locally installed accessory was especially noteworthy. We anticipated that buying through Steve Lewis in Hadley would be worth the extra distance we would have to travel, and found that to be the case. More
