On Monday, June 25th, we picked up our 2012 Impreza Subaru from Dave Hanks at Steve Lewis Subaru. To do this, we drove an hour from our home in the Berkshires & it was well worth the trip! Dave also sold us our 2011 Forester & we loved his easy style with repeat Subaru buyers like ourselves. He helped us find exactly what we wanted & it's been a great car. Dave remembered us when we called 18 months later to purchase a 2nd car from him. He listened to us, offered options & gave us polite & sincere service the entire time. We've told many contacts & friends/family about Steve Lewis Subaru & particularly David Hanks. He understood that we were buying our 9th & more recently, 10th Subaru & didn't need to be convinced. He listened & showed us what we wanted. It was never a problem that we wanted a manual transmission; we asked & he provided! The test drive was great & after some quick, efficient paperwork first with Dave & then with Myron, we were on the road with our second Steve Lewis Subaru! They made it so easy for us. #5's all the way!! We're so grateful to have found this dealership - we highly recommend them. I purchased a 2012 Outback and I cannot tell you how pleased we are with Todd Gerry and Kerry O'Sullivan. WHY?? Both men were very professional and clearly have "done their homework." In order for us to make our best decision we requested test drives with both a standard AND Automatic transmission automobile. This was set up immediatley and Mr. Gerry so patiently let both myself and my husband test drive both vehicles. His patience, his explaining, and true knowledge of the cars was nothing short of remarkable. No matter what questions we asked he clearly had the answer. This man knows these cars and answered and explained each question completely, concisely and his impressive knowledge was stunning. Both men involved in this sale were great. Thier patience and making the customer feel they were the only ones in the world was most appreciative. The attention to detail and assistance "closing the deal was professional, complete and INCRDEIBLKY quick. We drove off in a beatuiful new car feeling we knew what each function was and like it was a familiar car thanks to the effort to inform the customer. They really know to prepare and inform the new customer, they both would be fine educators. The dealership itself is impeccably clean and carefully appointed in a comfortable setting. Every employee that even walked by was quick with a "How are you, are you being helped?". This is noteworthy as we and many others we there on a truly busy day and it was obvious all staff was eager to help all of us. This dealership is excellent because of people like Todd Gerry and Kerry O'?Sullivan. Iwill highly recommend them to everyone. Kerry was the person we met when we first visited the dealership and he was very helpful answering our questions about the different Subaru models. He set us up to work with Peter, who was also very hel dealership and he was very helpful answering our questions about the different Subaru models. He set us up to work with Peter, who was also very helpful and spent A LOT of time with us to help us pick the right car for us. We went on two test drives and Peter sat in the car with us several times to show us the different features and explain the differences between the two models. We ended up buying the Impreza Hatchback and are thrilled with it so far! Peter was extremely patient with our many questions and answered all of them very clearly. I believe he went above and beyond what I expected to try to give us the best possible deal and work with us to figure out different payment options, additional features, etc. Both Peter and Kerry were also very friendly and personable! Peter even called us the day after we bought the care to check and see if we have any other questions now that we have driven the car for a bit. We are very happy with the purchase and with the quality of the service we we given at Steve Lewis Subaru. We gave 5 stars for all categories for the above reasons. More

I had as good an experience at a car dealership as I could imagine having. The process of car buying (spending a great deal of money on something I am not that knowledgeable about and as quickly as poss could imagine having. The process of car buying (spending a great deal of money on something I am not that knowledgeable about and as quickly as possible since I was suddenly without a car) was inherently stressful and, consequently, not something I wanted to be doing. I researched cost before I needed to negotiate it and ultimately, got the car I wanted at a competitive price. I believe I would not have fared as well if I had not been armed with that information to counter the dealership's opening offer. Dave Hanks, the sales associate, was kind, helpful and fair. He supported me in my multiple test drives and answered my questions knowledgeably and respectfully. Dave successfully negotiated the precarious balance of respecting my process of needing to take a little time to make a decision, while still understanding I was without a car and needed some speed in the process. Someone who knew me well could not have done better! More
I purchased a brand new BRZ. Put down a deposit at MSRP and pre-ordered the car (purchase contingent on test drive). David was professional and courteous, and I enjoyed the experience. I noticed a minor blemish and a couple scratches in the paint right after I picked it up (obviously damage from when it had shipped). I wasn't sure it was worth mentioning, but I happened by the dealership so I brought it back. David was very upfront saying that they had noticed a little shipping damage and had considered filing a claim, but it was so minor they decided to try to fix it. Anyway, Eric (their finishing magician) touched it up and it looks great. The scratches are still *slightly* visible, but they're so faint, they're not noticeable unless you're inches away and light hits it at just the right angle. As it will be my daily driver year round, I have no problem with that and I appreciated that the dealership was honest and took the time to address it (and I'm glad they opted not to file a claim as it would've meant that I wouldn't yet have the car). I'm enjoying the BRZ very much, and appreciate the fine sales and service from Steve Lewis Subaru. More

He took the time to take us on an ample test drive and answer all our question. I never felt rushed or pressured. He was sensitive to our concerns and trepidation about buying a new car for the first time. He also worked with us to find a price and model that met our budget. Myron Callender helped us coordinate the sale and registration. He spent a lot of time on the phone on our behalf (thanks to a wedding-name-change snafu). The other staff I spoke with were also very friendly and personable. For a car purchasing experience, this is probably one of the best I could have hoped for. Not only did Todd find us the car we wanted, but exceeded our expectations on the price and got a lower rate without us even asking. Todd took the time to not only see what we wanted with absolutely no pressure, even endured our 2 year old daughter who was running around the dealership. I would not hesitate to purchase another car at Steve lewis Subaru especially with the excellent staff. More

I had got an approval from a local bank for an auto loan and John was able to get me a better rate on financing the car. He was extremely patient with us, he treated us with respect and was very informative. We tried different cars and originally we were looking at the Impresa premiun, (mostly because my sons like them) but I do use my car in long trips because of my work and I wanted something more confortable and the fact that I like to feel safe and that I am use to bigger cars I was not sure that I wanted the Impresa. John suggested to try the Subaru Legacy. I did and I new this was the car for me. John was very knowledgable and took the time to instruct me in how to use all the gadgets. Most of all I appreciate the fact that he made us feel very confortable and he was not pushy or pressure us in any way. I had a great experience even with other staff at this dealer. I will recommend Steve Lewis Subaru and John Acadia to my friends and family and anyone who ask. More
