We were in the market for a new car and had been very pleased with our 1999 Suburu Forester. So we came to the dealer in search of a replacement car. We were sold on the Forester and Todd Gerry was able to show us a car that was perfect for us. He explained everything to us and walked us through everything that we needed to know.(especially the electronics). He was extemely helpful and courteous and welcoming. He and everyone at the dealership made the sale pleasant. More
Since the first call John was very polite, he responded very soon at my application for an used car I saw over the internet. The approval process was faster and based on my needs. This dealership was very good in terms of customer service and being responsive to the customer's needs. I felt like I was being treated well and my sales rep was interested in getting me the best ca service and being responsive to the customer's needs. I was always interested in Subaru but refused to do business with the Subaru dealership nearest to me, but I had a customer who recommended I go see Pete in Hadley at Steve Lewis, and one day I was in business with the Subaru dealership nearest to me, but I had a customer who recommended I go see Pete in Hadley at Steve Lewis, and one day I was in the area and stopped in. Jesse greeted me and was really helpful and gave me the run-down on the different models and introduced me to Pete. They were both so helpful and patient with my questions that I returned a few days later and brought a friend from the Hartford area who was also looking for a new car. Pete was our salesperson and he found me exactly what I needed, and explained to me why it would suit my needs more so than other cars on their lot. I got exactly what I wanted for my trade (and didnt have to hear 9,000 reasons why its a terrible car that I shouldnt have purchased in the first place--believe me it happens other places) and Kerry the sales manager was SO funny and easy going he even got me financing (Normally i hate the finance guys so much i just go to my bank for financing) My new-to-me Forester was delivered in awesome condition, all of the things that needed to be done were completed over the weekend and when I brought it home it was the first car in a long time that my partner didn't get mad at me for buying. I buy cars often, and typically have purchased from luxury car dealers in connecticut and this was by far one of the best experiences I've had at a dealership. As leases in my household come to the end of their term we will be seeing more of Pete and Kerry and everyone at Steve Lewis Subaru, and my customers will always get recommendation from me to see Pete! PS Thanks so much for getting me out of my Jaguar, I cant wait for snow (thats nothing i've ever said before) More
I couldn't be happier about the experience. John was a great guy to deal with all the way around. In the course of looking for a car, I dealt with some serious losers, so talking to the guys at Steve Lewi great guy to deal with all the way around. We generally buy a car every ten years or so, but have never had the post-sale experience we had with our salesman, Larry Flakes. He spent nearly two hours reviewing key points in the owner's manual (incl never had the post-sale experience we had with our salesman, Larry Flakes. He spent nearly two hours reviewing key points in the owner's manual (including the lemon law) and then out on the lot showing us all the Forester's features and how to use them. We were a lot better informed drivers when we left in our new car and probably safer ones as well. The dealership also allowed us to make some last-minute changes in our sales agreement and every part of that agreement was explained clearly and in detail.
