Best experience with a car dealer I've ever had. My wife and I purchased a Subaru today, and we are hooked. Our sales person was Todd Gerry, and he did not sell anything. Todd is fantastic! He was honest and straightforward, easy to communicate with, and he listened. There was no pressure whatsoever, and he made the process as simple and burdenless as possible. I hesitate to even refer to him as a "sales person." He sincerely established that the experience today and going forward is/was about relationship and service. But then I got a little anxious because the next step was sitting down with a business manager. I met with Myron Callender, and he is also fantastic! He provided a financing option, but there was no pressure. We already had financing with another institution, and decided to stick with that, and he was fine -- he did not push a thing. Extended warranty was expressed as an option, not as a sales pitch. Again, no pressure whatsoever. He continued what Todd established -- relationship and service. I am still a bit stunned at the entire experience. I went in expecting the worst -- expecting what I have always received at every other car dealership. What I got was far different. I am hooked on Steve Lewis Subaru. We have two other non-Subaru cars. I will be staying in touch with Todd Gerry, because if our new Subaru performs as I anticipate, then I expect that car replacement time will occur at Steve Lewis Subaru. Steve, kudos for assembling a team of good people. More
My faith in car dealerships has been restored! Last weekend, I began my 'search' for a new car; I was in the Northhampton area and decided to try out Steve Lewis. Quite honestly, it was with some trep weekend, I began my 'search' for a new car; I was in the Northhampton area and decided to try out Steve Lewis. Quite honestly, it was with some trepidation as my past experiences as not always been positive. As soon as I met Todd Gerry, I was impressed by his low key manner, knowledge and expertise in the product he was selling and his down to earth honesty he exuded. He was patient, forthright and was willing to spend as much time with me as necessary. It was refreshing! My 'search' that day ended in a lease of a car! I knew I wanted a Subaru (my first) but I did not expect to seal the deal that day! Now that is good sales work! Myron expedited the financial piece of it with pleasantness and with an openness which was appealing. No pressure! I really felt like both of them treated me as a customer that mattered. They are HIGHLY recommend for anyone interested in dealing with a business that is honorable and puts service before anything else. Thank you so much for the experience. With sincerity, Barb K. More

He answered all of my questions I had regarding buying a hybrid car. He knew a lot about the car, eve though it wasn't a subaru. He didn't pressure me into buying it, but I really liked the car. He gave me a good price on it and i bought it. It was a very good experience at Steve Lewis Subaru and I wouldn't hesitate to reccomend them to anyone looking for a car. More
I was skeptical at first; shopping for a car is stressful and I have not had to buy a car in ten years. My salesperson was Jesse and from the start he was very professional. Jesse was helpful, friendly and informed. I was nervous about buying a car but Jesse made it easy. When the model I was first interested in wasn't available he helped me find the best value and deal for my about buying a car but Jesse made it easy. This dealership is filled with incredible sales associates. Kerry , Jesse and Myron all put a huge effort in to get me the car of my dreams!! From my first contact on the internet to our picking up our 2013 Outback premium the experience was the best I have ever had. The price was right and I had worked with Consumer Report and the Geico Ins. b our 2013 Outback premium the experience was the best I have ever had. The price was right and I had worked with Consumer Report and the Geico Ins. buyer's guide so I knew what a great price should be. There were no bait and switch conversations. All options and packages including dealer installed ones were as promised and on time. Pete our saleman took all the time necessary to explain the car from back to front and althought there is still much to get use too, Pete was there to answer all questions and told us to call with any others. He will even be calling in a few weeks to check on our progress. He even arranged and paid for our first oil change. I dealt with seven other dealers from Rhode island to CT to Pittsfield, MA and Steve Lewis was the best by far. If our experience with Service is as great as sales, I will be with Steve Lewis for quite awhile. More

First, I want to thank Holly for all her effort and patience in finding the car I wanted. She always kept me updated, and I was very happy to receive the car after about 2 weeks of locating and orderi patience in finding the car I wanted. I believe she's in the internet sales dept., which I assumed would be limited in terms of the sales service (not just this dealership but all). In my mind, however, she was the best salesperson I had worked with after talking to others from several dealerships in New England. To re-emphasize, she always made sure my concerns and questions were addressed and communicated timely. I can't think of anything else one needs when looking for a car. I also enjoyed working ith Kerry, David Hanks, and Myron. They also kept me updated timely and addressed all of my concerns and questions. Kerry and David greeted and informed me on the day I first saw my car at their dealership. David helped me get used to driving and using all the tech's that came with the car. I felt comfortable and competent driving the car right away. Kerry worked with me on the lease and other documents. He was extremely patient with me as I was indecisive on whether to add some of the features. Unfortunately, I decided to add seat warmers after I left the dealership. However, he drafted another contract, which I could sign when the car was delivered (yes, they delivered the car to my work because I live in Boston, about 100 miles away from the dealership.). Myron, I believe, looked into all the finance aspects of my lease. Like others, he, too, kept me updated and even looked into things that were probably not within his usual tasks (e.g. checking with the service center to see if the seat warmers were finished, when the car would be delivered, etc.). What can I say about this dealership which is rated #1 Subaru Dealership in New England? It's the best, and my first car purchase experience was nothing but enjoyable. More
