Peter (the salesman) was very good at describing the vehicle and all of its features. Financial discussions were without pressure and were within the range we had expected based upon internet research in advance. Peter wanted us to have a positive experience and we did. His follow-up call to us that first evening of taking the vehicle home to get our reactions was unexpected and appreciated. More

My first communication was over the phone with Griffin Paquette. She was extremely friendly and welcoming, but applied no pressure on me to purchase a car, the kind of sales pressure I have experienced w Paquette. She was extremely friendly and welcoming, but applied no pressure on me to purchase a car, the kind of sales pressure I have experienced with other dealerships (not Subaru) in the past. We set up an appointment for me to come into the showroom. It was there that I was introduced to Steve Rivers. I was initially interested in purchasing a Forester, because I was not aware that any smaller Subaru vehicles had all-wheel drive and good road clearance. I was trading in a Honda Civic after having had a car accident in Heath, MA, a town which gets a lot of snow, has very bad roads, and is quite hilly. His first question to me was, "Why do you like your Civic?" I told him that I liked it because it was "zippy" and really hugged the roads. He then suggested I might prefer the Crosstrek over the Forester, one reason being that they are smaller than the Forester and I obviously liked small, peppy cars. He informed me that the Crosstrek not only has all-wheel drive, but has the road clearance of the Forester. We then test drove the Crosstrek, and I fell in love with it. I did not buy a car that day, as I wanted to do some research on-line. It was there that I found out about the Crosstrek Hybrid and the information I found there, made me want to test drive and possibly purchase one of those vehicles. I then test drove the Hybrid with Steve Rivers and liked it even more than the regular Crosstrek. I ended up purchasing the Crosstrek Hybrid Touring. My overall experience with Steve was superb. He was extremely friendly, (but not in a "sales-pitchy" way), authentic, humorous, and made me feel very comfortable. He was also very informative and spent a great deal of time with me. There was no feeling of being rushed and I felt no pressure from anyone to buy a vehicle. He followed up with me with regard to my new registration and the dealership brought my new car down to be inspected. He also connected my new phone to be compatible with Bluetooth. I would highly recommend Steve Rivers to anyone interested in purchasing a Subaru. More

I have not purchased a car in 10 years, and was not looking forward to doing so, based on my past experiences. From the moment my husband and I entered the dealership, we were treated like valued custo looking forward to doing so, based on my past experiences. From the moment my husband and I entered the dealership, we were treated like valued customers. Peter Lustenberger and Joe Clark worked very hard to find me the exact car I wanted, and even added the 1 option it was missing! I felt they really wanted our business, and never took a "take it or leave it" attitude with us. I completely understand why their rating is as high as it is. We did travel to another Subaru dealership in the Boston area, and were treated very badly. We have not had any previous experience with Steve Lewis Subaru, so I didn't have a clue about what to expect. I would not hesitate to recommend this dealership to anyone interested in a Subaru, or any of the other fine used cars they offer there. Peter, Joe and Myron were the best! More

Not only were Griffin and Larry both as excited about my new car as I was, every person they introduced me to in the dealership (sales, parts, and service!) was warm, friendly, and congratulated me on my fi new car as I was, every person they introduced me to in the dealership (sales, parts, and service!) was warm, friendly, and congratulated me on my first new car. Griffin made sure I was comfortable and informed throughout the entire process and made buying a car a fun and exciting experience. Larry gave me the most hilarious but effective rundown of all of the gadgets and features and made sure I was all set before driving off the lot. These guys really know their cars and have a contagious excitement that has completely changed my opinion of car dealerships and salesmen. Thank you both SO much for your help and I actually look forward to stopping in to have my car serviced! More
