So many choices but end up gravitating to the Outback which has always been my favorite. Doug was amazingly patient. Everyone was very respectful when I told them I couldn't tolerate high pressure sales. They made buying a car a much better experience than past car shopping. I got a great price and good trade in for my old Outback. Steve Lewis may not be as big as some of the other Subaru dealers but they have a great sales team who actually listen and come through! Friendly, competent sales experience My husband and I worked closely with Peter on selecting and buying our new Outback. Peter was a great listener and was friendly and easy going. From test drive to signing the loan papers, Peter helped us every step of the way. He took care of getting paper work from our insurance company and registering the car. He also took a lot of care in making sure we knew how the features work. When we got the car, the tank was full, it was spotless, and it's been a joy to drive every day! On top of that, when we had a fluke accident with our older car ending in a total loss the same weekend we bought the new Outback, Peter stayed calm and cool. He showed us a couple of older cars and talked through the option of leasing an Impreza to replace our now totaled older car. Although we didn't want to have another payment, Peter helped us see how leasing would save us money on potentially increasing repair costs involved in buying an older car. Very happy with this decision, too. More

When I returned to pick it up Steve Rivers sat with me and went over all the functions and accessories . I have never had a salesman take the time to do that before. I recommend this dealership. 2014 Subaru Outback - Ask for Doug All the staff I encountered at the dealership the day I bought my car were great. From the gentleman who opened the door for me when I arrived to the All the staff I encountered at the dealership the day I bought my car were great. From the gentleman who opened the door for me when I arrived to the service center staff when I made my first appointment to get an oil change. However, Doug in sales is who I would recommend you go see. I went to Steve Lewis Subaru not knowing much about their vehicles other than they were safe, had All Wheel Drive and I had a baby on the way (ended up being 3 days later!). Doug found out my budget and needs and went to work (while I drank my coffee). He put two options on the table: 1.) the Forester 2.) the Outback. He then set up back to back test drives for me and kept a written list of pros, cons, and comparables for each. His knowledge of the vehicles was endless; Prior to each test drive he pulled the vehicle out and brought it to a private place just down the street where we were able to run through the entire vehicle as he described every feature (if you don't already know the extent of Subaru's safety features go ask Doug, there isn't enough space on the rating to do it justice). He didn't waste my time either, he kept my options realistic and had me driving off the lot that evening. I would recommend this Subaru dealership as a whole to anyone, but if you are like me and didn't know that much about the product it might be a good idea to speak with Doug. Steve Lewis Subaru I was looking for my very first brand new car, and I knew I wanted something that would be good for the New England weather. Based upon that I decided I was looking for my very first brand new car, and I knew I wanted something that would be good for the New England weather. Based upon that I decided that what I really wanted was a Subaru. I had done some research online and decided that the 2014 Subaru Impreza 2.0i Limited was the car for me. With that decided, I went to another Subaru dealership to start looking. While I was at this other dealership, I really just didn't feel like I was important or that they really cared about getting me the specific car I wanted, just the ones that they had available at the moment. I left that dealership feeling defeated and very nervous about buying a car. Later that day, I looked around online for other dealerships in the area through TrueCar.com and found Steve Lewis Subaru. Even though it was an hour's drive away, I decided to go there and check them out. I went there that same day, and from the moment I walked in I knew I had found the right place. Joe Clark was the first person I met there, and he introduced me to Gus Erskine who ultimately worked with me on the car buying process. Both Gus and Joe felt like genuine people to me, and they worked to find me the exact car I wanted in the color I wanted. This car was still "at port" when I was at the dealership but they took the time to show me all of the information on it. Even though that day I had gotten to the dealership later in the day (arriving about an hour before they were closing and leaving within five minutes of closing time), I at no point felt rushed. About a week and a half later my car had arrived and I received a call that afternoon on the day it arrived to let me know it was there. It took a few days to get everything sorted out on my end with the loan information, during which I worked with Myron Callender. Myron was very patient and helpful while I got everything with the loan figured out. On the day I went to pick up my car the process was very quick and I feel like everything about my car and the car buying process was explained very well in detail to me. I am so happy with my new Subaru Impreza and I am glad that I purchased it through Steve Lewis Subaru. If you're looking for a place where you can feel like they actually care about you, and want to help, I highly suggest them! Thank you Steve Lewis Subaru for making the first time buying a brand new car a great and easy experience! More
