Roger jumped on a trade in that was the perfect vehicle for me and contacted us immediately. I am thrilled with my car!! My daughter also loves hers. I’ve been to many dealers in my car buying lifetime, and this was by far the most professional, courteous, and relaxed experience I’ve had. STUDENTS BEWARE. Although the staff are friendly, engaging and ready to help; this dealership is marking up its inventory through their "Protection Package". I worked with Dina who was very helpful in explaining the leasing process and was engaging through the entire ordeal. However, once negotiations began I realized I was being taken advantage of. I can only assume it was due to my age and lack of leasing experience, but their inventory included a ~$5k markup. To my knowledge, this "protection package" adds no intrinsic value to the vehicle (see numbers below). When I asked to negotiate this protection package off the price of the car, I was told that they would not work with me, and they will "find another buyer who will take the vehicle at this price". I walked away from this dealership then, and there. I bought the same exact car for a reasonable price elsewhere. Very bad sales practice on this dealership's part. Rich's warm and calming introduction to the dealership was only the beginning of what proved to be not only a successful purchase of a beautiful 2023 new crosstrek, but an experience that was welcoming, supportive and thorough from beginning to end. As I am repatriating, and my daughter is living in the US for the first time, this was especially important for us. Rich's knowledge and understanding of the market, the product, as well as his assessment of our needs as customers, was superior. He took time to get to know us as he helped us pick the best car for us. We learned everything we need to know about our crosstrek, the services on site at Steve Lewis available to us as Subaru owners, and the overall Subaru dedication to excellence, safety and its shareholders. I cannot thank Rich enough for his attention to detail, his interpersonal skills, and his patience. It was a fortuitous match that was overall an enjoyable and easy process, as well as a meaningful one. I am generally not an easy customer, and I have high standards. It’s the first time I’ve ever paid $138. 00 for an oil change. I asked for an oil change and the man at the counter told me I needed to come every six months or 6000 miles to take advantage o 00 for an oil change. He asked “do you understand “? I replied “yes”. After I waited about 45 minutes my car was ready. The bill was $138! I asked why d so o much, the cashier said my tires had been rotated and the cost of everything is going up. I told her I had just requested an oil change. She gave me an “oh well” kind of attitude. Won’t be going there for service again. More
