Stetler Dodge is my local neighborhood dealership who I would love to patronize because I believe in staying local. I am a very easy person. I’m only taking time to do this because I’m so disappointed in some of my experiences with Stetler. I recently purchased a new Jeep, and I actually went to Stetler when I was looking, I spoke to a salesman who said he would get to back to me about some particulars that I was interested in and I never heard from him. For the second time now, I’ve had my car in for work in the shop, the most recent time when I came into this service department and made an appointment. We chose a date and time that I can actually make an appointment for my inspection and not a time that I would just drop my vehicle off and you would have it done by the end of today I specified that I wanted it it’s quick as I can get it and then they would have it overnight and it was set up for an appointment first thing in the morning, it was a brand new jeep purchased out of town so all they needed was an inspection. I never heard from the dealership until I called at 1:30 which they told me well they’ll be done soon they haven’t put the stickers on the window yet I came back in at 2:30 to pay assuming it would’ve been done by then I know it wasn’t at that time. I questioned why it took all day to do that inspection, and he told me that was explained to me when I drop it off that would be all day that was not the case at all. The time before a couple months ago, I brought my other jeep in for a service again dropped off overnight so that they would do it the first thing in the morning as the appointment was set and that I wanted it back ASAP. I hadn’t heard from them and it was 1 o’clock I called spoke to a young lady who explained to me that there were some issues that they had not called me about that they can get the parts and get the vehicle back to me by the end of the day wasn’t happy about that, but I said go for it I wasn’t happy that I had received a call and it was 1 o’clock and the lady said well you called me well yes I did because I couldn’t believe I had not received a call that late in the day. The young lady explained to me my situation very well I thought explain to me everything that I needed to be taken care of in the depart for being brought in right away well that didn’t work out, so they had to keep my car overnight because only one of the two parts came in. I don’t know how things work in your garage but I would’ve thought maybe you would’ve offered me a vehicle because of that situation but that was never discussed, so I guess that’s not an option , but I finally got my car the next day. Not exactly sure what time but I was not happy about that situation as well. Interesting enough I never take the time to fill these out but I did the last time because I was so unhappy with that experience and if anyone cared, I would’ve heard from someone about that experience but I didn’t. More
