I stopped by on a Thursday night and test drove the vehicle. The car was in great shape however, I heard a little winning noise and was told by Joseph Boguhet and Alex (pre owned manager) that was the turbo on the vehicle. Alex ensured me that those cars are put through vigorous inspection. I asked that they run a diagnostic on the vehicle to make sue and they both assured me they would have the vehicle looked at before I drove the vehicle off the lot. I pick the vehicle up the following day around 5pm and by that night the check engine light comes on, I take the vehicle back to Sterling McCall mid day on Saturday. Ken in the service department comes out and greets me. I tell him about the problem he turns they key on and off and messes with the gas cap. Then he asked that I bring it back during the week. I bring the car back on Tuesday and drop it of with Rick. They had the car until Friday only to tell me that the vehicle needed a new catalyst converter. Alex calls me and says if I like they can fix free of charge are reverse the transaction. I opted to keep the vehicle because they ensured me they would fix it at no cost. Ken then calls and advises me they would order the part and will be in next week. The week came and went no call. I called a few time a week after and between Ken and Rick the part had not come in. 3/4 weeks later I go in and sit in the service department for roughly 2 hours while Ken looks for the file that he cant seem to locate. He finally comes with some papers and says that all the old orders were purged from the system and that he had to reorder the part. I accepted that and left I called a few more times and no part still had arrived. I went in again and Rick looked confused this time. I ended up taking the vehicle to get serviced myself. Horrible customer service and very dishonest dealership. I would never purchase another vehicle from the company or any of its affiliates again. More
Ask for Duy Duy Vo was very straight with us and made sure we all left the dealership satisfied. Really happy with the purchase; you can tell the guy knows cars. He was able to clarify all the items on the contract I had questions with and was knowledgeable regarding the options available to us once he knew what we were looking for. I have never had such an easy car buying experience. Wasn't originally planning on going Toyota/Scion, but based on our experience there and great reviews about their service department, I am glad it turned out this way. I LOVE my FR-S! More
I have used Sterling McCall for service on my toyotas for years. My last trip, they recommended more than a thousand dollars worth of repairs, that included new brake pads, and alignment and a belt. I decided that, frankly, my husband was a cheaper alternative. Saved about $900. This should have been an indicator of things to come, but mind you I have been using them since 2002 for both toyotas I owned. I decided to start my car search here when one of those cars was totaled by an idiot not paying attention who hit me going 25+ miles an hour. i was rear ended while stopped at a light. While I am pleased to report the people in the car (myself and my 5 year old son in the back seat), were injured in a relatively minor fashion considering we could have died, I was not so lucky with the car. I was thrust into car shopping with a now empty savings due to the wreck, and attempting to find a perverbial needle in a haystack. Our first trip was amicable enough. Sales rep was nice, test drove two cars with us after a 20 minute search for the cars (they REALLY NEED to organize that lot better). When it came time to make a deal, I put down our offer, and the finance guy actually gave us an offer $500 HIGHER than his original offer. We pointed this out, offered the same amount, and the finance guy came down a whopping $100 dollars, and said end of discussion. two days later, I found the exact same car online at another dealer down the street for cheaper. I sent the information to the online used car sales rep and said I would like to see if you can beat it. He came down more than a grand off the price that the other dealership had. I came back. I called to let the rep know I was en route, and was told the keys were up front ready to go, all we needed to do was sign. Showed up, and the car had been sold. 15 minutes after my call, the car was nowhere to be found, and they had lots of great "options" 3-4K more than the one I had priced over the phone. Pushy sales person made racial comments about coworkers, in addition to being hellbent on selling me a Nissan Altima that turned out to have a 3 star crash test rating. he claimed it was just as good as a camry. I may be new to buying a car, but even I know bait and switch when it is this obvious. I was appalled at the treatment. this dealership has seriously gone downhill. Will not set foot here again. They have lost a customer for life. More
Service was done in a reasonable amount of time for a good price. Waiting accomodations were great (free beverages). Work appears to have been done correctly (brakes you can't see). good price. I am old and quite deaf. I got a notice for a recall. The service was outstanding. The people make this place special. Many thanks. I'm fairly new to Houston and have been to two other dealerships. I moved from apartments to a house so Sterling McCall is in my neighborhood. What a fortunate move. My initial visit went so well I scheduled another visit for regular servicing next week. I just wish every elderly widow could have such a lovely dealership! Lucky me. More

After receiving a price quote on a new vehicle we agreed to go and look at the vehicle. The dealer is approximately 30 miles away and we left immediately as agreed. Upon arriving we were told by Mr Vo that to go and look at the vehicle. The dealer is approximately 30 miles away and we left immediately as agreed. Upon arriving we were told by Mr Vo that he had just sold the vehicle. This is very unprofessional at the least. I would certainly not recommend this dealer to anyone. More
I had a great experience at this dealership. They treated me great and I even got to look around and they had the best prices for the vehicle I was looking for. Freddi was a wonderful sales man and treated me great and I even got to look around and they had the best prices for the vehicle I was looking for. Freddi was a wonderful sales man and had an answer for all of my questions and the ones he didn't know he quickly found for me. I will be purchasing another vehicle from this dealership through Freddi. More
Lube dept. is fine, but the service dept. really is lame. I am waiting for 10 minutes while late comers are being helped. So many negative experiences I have had with this place. Next car is not going to be from this dealer for their poor service (I had also had an issue upon purchase; title not being sent in timely manner, license plate being forgotten, one of the options I purchased was not done upon vehicle pickup) More
