Today was my first time using the Toyota dealership for an oil change and it was very disappointing. I had an appointment at 9 am but I arrived early (8:36 AM) and I was shocked to see my car was not ready an oil change and it was very disappointing. I had an appointment at 9 am but I arrived early (8:36 AM) and I was shocked to see my car was not ready closer to 4:45 PM. I noticed the receipt said it was ready at 1:30ish but through the app it stated That it was “final touch in progress” and I had to call closer to 5 PM to find out it was almost ready. When I called Ernest tried to justify that it took a while because I asked to check the lower ball joint and that the multi vehicle inspection takes time complete as well, but 7 hours for an oil change? What helped the situation was that Ernest manager looked into it more and noticed that it didn’t need to take that long, I noticed he was not trying to excuse the 7 hours for the oil change. I’m not sure if a car wash is included like at Nissan Dealerships which could “delay” the completion time but even then it took a while. I would give the dealership another try, it could be that the mechanic may have had an off day or the assistant manager and forgot to notify me in time but just wanted to give an honest review about my first time using the oil changes benefit at the dealership. More

I’m thinking about never coming back. I came in for an oil change, and over 2 hours later I asked the cashier if my car was finished and she said yes. I was not notified when it was don I came in for an oil change, and over 2 hours later I asked the cashier if my car was finished and she said yes. I was not notified when it was done, and when I went out to get it, it took another 10 minutes for it to show up. So I was there for 2.5 hours to get a routine oil change. The communication was poor at best today. More
