I brought my car in for a few issues, including to check out what sounded like a tire scraping against a wheel well whenever I hit a dip in the road. I asked them to call with an estimate and whether the work was covered by the warranty. They called back after an unexpectedly short time and said they didn’t find any problems to work on. When I came to pick it up, I asked about the scraping sound again. He said they found nothing, then made a glib comment, saying to avoid dips. I went the same day to a different mechanic. They found a piece of loose plastic in the undercarriage in no time at all. I don’t know how the dealership missed that. I think they realized they weren’t going to make any money off my car that day and decided to ignore it and move on to the other cars for the day. I might be wrong in that assumption, but I’m disappointed they didn’t find something as simple as a detached piece of undercarriage. Otherwise, I’ve been happy with this dealership’s service department. More
