I'd give this 0 stars if possible. 2 stars because I personally skip over the 1 star reviews. I called Sterling McCall Honda on friday 4-11 and scheduled an appointment with salesman 2 stars because I personally skip over the 1 star reviews. I called Sterling McCall Honda on friday 4-11 and scheduled an appointment with salesman Ty P. about a 2021 Honda Accord Sport. I told him I was pre-approved and I was going to buy the car on Saturday 4-12. No problem. He sent me the link via text to confirm the appointment for 11am. We arrived at the dealership around 11:15am Saturday morning due to Houston traffic and was approached by 2 different salesman about the car. Ty was nowhere to be found and upon speaking to the second salesman I was told that he left early. Again, no problem. I was working with Miranda (I think that was her name), and everything was going well. We looked at the car, I took it for a test drive and all was good. I was in the middle of negotiating and signing the OTD price and about to go to financing when I was told that the car I was buying was in the process of being sold by another used-car salesman because they got there first. I drove 1 1/2 hours with my 18 month old to purchase this car. EVEN MAKING A RESERVATION THE DAY PRIOR I was basically told I'm SOL. A 3-hour round trip plus my time wasted at the dealership. They offered 2 other cars that I wasn't interested in so naturally I declined. Excuse my language but this is xxxxxxxx. This was very poor management and one of the worst experiences I've had at a dealership, and I buy a lot of cars so that's not good. Sterling McCall Honda will NOT be getting my business, nor will any of their sister dealerships and hopefully my reviews I will be writing will deter others from shopping with them as well. I'm sure this review will be followed up by some xxxxxxxx response from their "GM, Kim Eddy" but the damage has been done. "I'm sorry for your bad experience with SMH, but please reach out again so we can try to earn your business back" lmao. Never. There are too many dealerships a lot closer to my residence to bother with some lying, flaky xxxxxxx. And if I start receiving spam texts and emails Sterling McCall Honda will have a lawsuit on their hands. More
