I just purchased a certified pre-owned 2021 Honda Passport. When the vehicle went to service department to have fluids the changed out as part of the agreement of purchasing the vehicle. The mechanic claimed the brake fluid was changed out. The brake fluid has not been touched because you will see residual fluids on the brake booster, also the fluid is still dirty. For those who don't know, brake fluid supposed to be a clear not a tint of brown color. Also they claim the rear and front diff fluid was changed out which also was not done. On the drain and filler plug the factory alignment markings are still lined up perfectly. Also none of the dirt on the housings were disturbed or shows any sign of fluids being changed. Doesn't matter how good of a mechanic or tech you are, you are going to have fluids drain on external housings. I bought this vehicle hoping everything was done correctly but clearly it was not. The mechanic at this dealership clearly scammed me and who knows how many others this individual done this to. With picture evidence this dealership better hold this individual responsible for lying and scamming me and possibly others. More
I’ve had my car service here for 10 years… Recently I’ve been disappointed with the service and the repairs. The service advisors are not customer driven. In other words it’s becoming quantity not quality w been disappointed with the service and the repairs. The service advisors are not customer driven. In other words it’s becoming quantity not quality when it comes to customer service. The pathetic advisors name is Britnee S. She’s new and apparently doesn’t care about loyalty. She attempted to charge me $69 plus tax plus some other fees for a synthetic oil change. The past 2 advisors Alex and Matt, would offer specials, coupons or discounts of some sort. I have never paid more than $45 for this service.. trust me it’s not the cost I’m complaining about it’s the customer service support. I understand things have increased in cost for everyone. I honestly wondered if she was struggling with racial bias. I presented her with an online coupon I discovered on the Sterling McCall website for $49.99. She developed a quick attitude and began a lecture focused on when I should have presented the coupon. Why that matters is unknown to me. I like saving money. I would think a good service advisor would offer the consumer any discounts available to help lower the cost of a service, What’s the harm. I’m not accustomed to spending my money with Honda and not feeling appreciated.. I was highly disappointed. The customer service is just not the same. It upsets me. I will definitely seek service elsewhere. Goodbye Sterling McCall Honda of Kingwood and your “Serve-LESS” advisors. I have other options. I will be sure to let everyone I know about the poor customer service I received. Just awful. Money and great customer service still matters to me and will always be what matters most. Good riddance! Service department seems to always be in mass confusion. Waited 2.5 hours for a previously scheduled oil change and tire rotation. When I asked for a status update they informed me they’d been waiting on me Waited 2.5 hours for a previously scheduled oil change and tire rotation. When I asked for a status update they informed me they’d been waiting on me to approve an air filter change. I explained I was never told/called about the air filter and had just been sitting around for 2.5 hours waiting for the oil change to be completed. I was then informed that my service advisor had quit hours before, leaving customers waiting for their vehicles. However, the new service advisor that was assigned was amazing and apologetic. A previous visit to this same service department resulted in the technicians keeping my vehicle for a month due to a diagnosed airbag related issue (they DID give me a rental/loaner). A month later when the new part arrived and was installed, we were told that part wasn’t the actual issue with the vehicle. Spent a month without my car for no reason. More
