The residual value listed in my contract was $15,848.00. The balance due from Sterling McCall was $19,117.81 which included several questionable charges including a $1,500 buyout fee. None of those fees were listed in my leasing contract. Luckily for me, I knew better than to sign a contract like that but many other people may think they have to sign a contract with a dealer fee or a "LEASE BUY OUT". Dealerships like Sterling McCall Ford make the entire company look bad. My final price at Tommie Vaughn Ford was about 17,000 (which was correct with taxes added on etc. I would also like to add that Tommie Vaughn had everything ready right when I walked in for my 11:00 appointment. David Nguyen was rude and dismissive of me from the get-go. I brought my truck in because of some strange warning lights. It’s under a bumper to bumper warranty so should have been no hassle no pay. Al get-go. I brought my truck in because of some strange warning lights. It’s under a bumper to bumper warranty so should have been no hassle no pay. Alas, he calls this small Pedal Commander throttle modulation device an “engine tune” and refuses to work on it. I ask if they can just unplug the tiny device from the pedal and fix it. They say no, forcing me to drive over and unplug it myself. I get there and unplug it, only to be told that if they detect “any trace” of it, they will charge me full non-warranty repair price. I ask if they can just check it again and tell me if there is any record of the device, and he accuses me of “wasting the mechanic’s time” and says no, they will charge me the full price. So much for customer always being right. Horrendous service, probably dismissive/condescending of/toward me since I was younger than him. If you get David Nguyen for your warranty service just go to Russell and Smith instead. More

This car dealership is a RIP off, I saw a vehicle on carfax, I went to test drive. Wanted to buy the car, wasn't expecting any discounts, didnt have time to haggle, I went in not needing any financing. carfax, I went to test drive. Wanted to buy the car, wasn't expecting any discounts, didnt have time to haggle, I went in not needing any financing. I knew there would be the tax title license ans processing charge. I didnt want any optional packages......they ADDED 4k on top of the ADVERTISED LISTED PRICE (not including TT&L) and said that they couldnt remove the additional charges. Don't waste your time with this dealership unless you call and make sure what the final price is because their advertised listed prices are very deceptive. When asked if I could take a copy of their offer home to discuss it with my son to see if he was willingly to pay more, they said no, they wouldnt even allow me to take a picture of it, why wouldn't they want me to take a picture of the price they were offering? Because it would be proof that they are FALSE ADVERTISING. The final offer given BEFORE TTL was 28k+ I would love to post proof but they didn't allow picture or copy of purchase price. My sales person was Ashley but even the manager called to verify that was the price so it wasn't the salespersons decision. My only complaint is that I told the salesperson over the phone before I went that I would be paying upfront no financing needed and once I test drove it if I liked it I would buy it, she knew and she could of told me there was a price difference BEFORE I WENT. I've bought 3 new vehicles from Chevrolet Dealerships and never experienced this, I either pay price advertised or sometimes I'm offered a lower deal. Call and get a final price over the phone if you are going to look at vehicles at this dealership. More
