DON’T PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM STERLING MCCALL CHEVROLET LOCATED AT 17800 NORTH FWY, HOUSTON, TX!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My daughter is a mother of 4 children. I recently helped her purchase a 2013 Chevrolet Trave LOCATED AT 17800 NORTH FWY, HOUSTON, TX!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My daughter is a mother of 4 children. I recently helped her purchase a 2013 Chevrolet Traverse. She paid a total of $14,000 for the used car. Before the first payment was due, it left her stranded on the side of the road. She used roadside assistance on her auto insurance to have it towed back to Sterling McCall. There they quoted her $5,220.39 to have it repaired. The front lower control arm and front bushings were cracked ($1,149.63), front struts were weak due to leaking ($973.80), brake pads needed replaced ($329.74), airbag light was on ($165.00), front and side motor mounts were broken ($837.84), needed front end alignment ($119.95), new alternator ($1,385.00), and new battery ($259.43). I understand that an alternator can go out without a notice and cause the battery to need replacement, but the other things on this list should’ve been repaired before they sold the car to her....or to anyone!!! To add insult to injury, she waited hours at the dealership to speak to a manager…2 DAYS IN A ROW - (one day she sat there 5 hours). During this wait time she was pointed at and talked about by employees, as if she was in the wrong. 😡 She finally spoke to the used car sales Director, Frankie, and he told her there was no way he would pay for the repairs because they were half the cost of the car value… But he expected her to pay for them??? SHE PURCHASED A CONTRACT - NOT A GOOD USED VEHICLE!!! BUYERS…BEWARE!!!!!! More
If you are needing any additional service other than an oil change I would suggest not receiving it from this service center. The Service Rep was not helpful and I had to return due to service light coming oil change I would suggest not receiving it from this service center. One star was generous. The absolute WORST buying experience ever. I purchased a 2020 Volkswagen and decided to take it to VW for a full point inspection. VW discovered it had no oil in it, faulty ti experience ever. I purchased a 2020 Volkswagen and decided to take it to VW for a full point inspection. VW discovered it had no oil in it, faulty tires (I had to stop every 2 days for air) and needed $4,000 worth of repairs from damages. Damages that Sterling McCall’s CarFax did not reflect 🤔. I returned the vehicle and purchased a “brand new” vehicle at a different dealership with a 5.5% APR (Sterling McCall gave me a “deal” 🙄 with 18% APR) and my monthly note is now 100.00 less per month than the used vehicle Sterling McCall Chevrolet tried to give me. Please don’t purchase a pre-owned vehicle from this dealer. Run away fast. I would be distraught if this happened to anyone else in the Texas area. I’m going to post this on my social media platforms for my 3,100 followers to see in case this review disappears. More
Just the typical Bait and Switch. I called, made sure the truck was there, made an appointment to view and drive it, drove 70 miles, only to find out the really did not have the truck. I was set in an office for over 30 minutes with no one there. Finally when I called to ask what was going on, a salesman, the one I talked to on the phone came and told me they really did not have the truck, but I could by one at twice the price or over 100,000 more miles than advertised. I was really hopeful, this would be a reputable dealer, but alas I guess there are really none of those. More
We called a few days before we went to go test drive a vehicle (we live 2 hours away) to make sure it would be there. We were told the vehicle would be in so we could test drive and the one we wanted woul vehicle (we live 2 hours away) to make sure it would be there. We were told the vehicle would be in so we could test drive and the one we wanted would be in in about a week and a half to two weeks. We do ALL the paperwork, trade in etc. and get a loaner car to use until the vehicle we purchased arrives. We call several times and leave several messages to have someone call us back to find out the ETA on the vehicle since it has been 2 weeks just for them to tell us they have to give us back our car (which is already for sale on their website) and take the loaner since they now do not know when ours will be here. Absolute WORST customer service I have EVER experienced. More

Wanted to sit in and drive a couple models. Our salesman Corey quickly made it clear we were a waste of his time.
