Scheduled an oil change from an email stating Saturday Service Special = $ 29.95 , and scheduled for 8am ( 1st in - 1st out ) as I had other errands. Drop off went great. Maddison was friendly. I told her Service Special = $ 29.95 , and scheduled for 8am ( 1st in - 1st out ) as I had other errands. Drop off went great. Maddison was friendly. I told her specifically that I wanted no other services, as I didn’t have time. This is where it went wrong… she sent me pictures of a brake fluid reservoir. I didn’t respond, as I had already told her I didn’t want any other services performed that day. 30 minutes had went by, and I thought I was ready to pay, and leave. Nope…. she texted me again, to see if I had a chance to look at the picture she had previously sent. I responded with the same statement… I didn’t want any other services at that time, as I did not have time. It gets worse… she said she was just “ waiting for my keys.” I went to her desk, and wanted to pay. Surely, I would have my keys by then. Nope… she didn’t have my invoice or my keys. I waited approximately 10 minutes before asking her to please get my keys. She went to talk to the technician, and came back to tell me the technician was in the middle of another oil change, and I would have to wait until he was done before she could get my keys and the invoice. 32 minutes went by, and she had my keys and invoice. By this time, I had waited for the oil change, a repeated time to try and sell me services that I told her I didn’t want, 10 minutes “ waiting on my keys”, 32 more minutes waiting on my keys and the invoice. You would think I would be out of there by now… Nope, it gets worse. She now asks me for $ 74 for the oil change. I told her today was Saturday Service Special, and the price was $ 29.95. She said she had no information about Saturday Service Special. She stated they don’t tell the Service Advisor about specials. She asked if I had a coupon. After debating the fact that your text/app used to contact me initially, takes you to a 3rd party website to book the appointment. Therefore you can’t hit the “ back button “ on your phone to show the Service Special prices. She said I should have taken a “ screenshot “ of the special price. I told her that is ridiculous, and I need to pay, as I should have been gone 45 minutes ago. 5 more minutes go by, as I guess she needed to make another invoice and get approval. She comes back and asks for $ 36 as my car takes 6 quarts of oil. She couldn’t be more wrong… every Service Advisor should know that a 4 cylinder engine does not take 6 quarts of oil. At this point, I am furious, but holding my composure… If she says one more stupid thing, I was going to cause a scene. I did not debate the 5 quarts- 6 quarts issue. I paid as quickly as I could. She handed me my keys, but all my personal keys had been removed from my key ring. xxx… I had to go back and ask where my keys were. She said they were removed and placed in my console. Who removes MY keys off MY key ring??? Sterling McCall Chevrolet.. that’ll who. I spent 1 hour and 34 minutes at your dealership, and other than the initial greeting, you failed at every step. I will not return to Sterling McCall Chevrolet for any reason. More
Ben was a great help with getting my truck in and out of the shop in a timely manner. I arrived around 9 when the opening time was thinking that I would maybe get out fast since it takes so long all the time but it still took 2hrs for just a oil change its freezing outside and yall had th that I would maybe get out fast since it takes so long all the time but it still took 2hrs for just a oil change its freezing outside and yall had the ac blasting still and also my oil change price went for 45 to 68 dollars and they did not put the new sticker in my widow so now I wouldn't know when it's time to get a new oil change More
Am absolute nightmare to deal with. Parts not available for a month, a service writer that never keeps you informed of what's going on. A company that doesn't care about its customers.
