Extremely disappointed with my customer experience at the ram commercial building with Jim Colbeck on 12/20/22. I haven’t felt so profiled and judged in quite a long time. The main reason I didn’t want to vi ram commercial building with Jim Colbeck on 12/20/22. I haven’t felt so profiled and judged in quite a long time. The main reason I didn’t want to visit a dealership as a 28yr old black male attempting to purchase a 2022 Ram 5500 I knew how it would go. To start, I received a letter stating the dealership didn’t “obtain my credit report” or “obtain my credit score.” Jim stated Denise submitted my credit app and Ally responded with wanting a 10k down payment. So either he lied or this letter is false. I will contact the credit bureau and discuss the inquiry with them to get it removed so no big deal there. Jim attempted everything to not sell me this truck. He began with he doesn’t sell Ram 5500s without a body. After discussing I’m not interested in a body, he proceeded with no one will finance just the Chassis Cab. Again, I expressed that I didn’t need a body as I will have a fifth wheel installed along with fenders and a tool box. Also, I know this is false as my business partner literally has the same truck with Chrysler Capital. So not every finance company will say no but “some” may since it’s an incomplete vehicle! After more conversation he states, “well I know you’re going to get approved,” which is confusing because prior to that he stated I wouldn’t get approved and he doesn’t sell them without a body. So why ask me to submit a credit app, there would be no point! He stated he would sell me the vehicle as a cash deal no problem though. Then states most customers buy these cash, as if that is suppose to deter me or make me feel less cause I’m attempting to finance! I could care less what “most customers” do. You have a finance department for customers who choose to finance too. I leave the dealership call him 1hr later to let him know that Ally and Chrysler Capital stated they would finance a “chassis cab.” He then proceeds to have me and my fiancé complete an application online. Which again contradicts his previous statements about not being able to get financed and not selling without a body. I hear nothing for two days, have to call because he hasn’t even submitted the app, and continue to call for updates since he would reach out directly. Jim stated Chrysler Capital wouldn’t take but ally would with 10k down. Also states that Ally wouldn’t provide interest rate until deal proceeds, which is complete bs. I worked at a dealership and know that they were either trying to withhold the rate from me. The finance company sends all information back to the finance manager. But I’m ok with that deal because I need the truck and told Jim I needed a couple a couple days to get the down payment. I asked if Jim would let me know if it sells beforehand, he agrees to let me know if there are any “serious buyers.” About two days past, i ride past the dealership and truck is gone. Come to find out it’s sold, which is fine it happens. I would’ve appreciated the call to let me know after running my credit. I already didn’t trust Jim and much of what he was saying. Now after receiving this letter, it confirms that somewhere in this process i was lied to. Either you ran my credit because I have multiple inquiries now or Jim lied about the response Denise had supposedly received from Ally. I will make sure to leave 1 star on everything I can for this place! Thankfully there are other dealers out there who are willing to complete the deal, and not trying to add profit on the front end for the bigger commission! More

Marc Perez was very unethical and unprofessional. The attitude given was questionable and lied to me and my family about the car we had.
