Patronizing treatment from start to finish. My tale beings on Apr 22, 2015. I picked up my vehicle after service involving the check engine light, GASCAP, and a warranty replacement item to be My tale beings on Apr 22, 2015. I picked up my vehicle after service involving the check engine light, GASCAP, and a warranty replacement item to be greeted by a low tire pressure light that wasn't on before...not a big deal, but they couldn't be bothered to take care of it. Two days later the check engine light was on again. I was told over the phone that if it wasn't blinking, 'it wasn't serious'. A week later it was blinking, called again and had to wait 3 weeks for an appointment, bringing me to June 2. They called on the 4th to tell me they had no record of a tune-up (never mentioned it in April), so I had them do the tune-up and their recommended 'decarbonation'. When I called about the status of my car, they found a coolant leak which was repaired - I assume. When I picked up my vehicle, there was a crack approx 12" long on the driver side windshield that was not there when I dropped it off. The service manager came out to look at it, said his people didn't cause it and they were not going to replace it. End of story. More
Awful treatment in service department This has been in going for a week! Picked it up 20 miles down the road encountered an problem that wasn't even an issue when dropped off. Took it back and they the treatment we Recieved was even worse thank before trying to say it was our fault! Now was treated like children by the service girl and NOW even the manager (whom we asked to speak to). Said they would look at truck and let us know we then left. Now the work they did on the truck is in right in front of what is now wrong with it! Was told by a outside mechanic that what's going on now with the truck is "probably" from them doing the work and hitting the area now having issues. It's bound to happen sometimes but on them to fix it seeing it's from them. Either way it needs to be fixed and there is a warranty on it! So don't see where their problem is. Next morning Recieved a call from said service girl said they will not be able to let us know what's wrong until a week from that day and was very rude. Therefore we called and arranged to take it elsewhere tired of being treated this way! Was told when called that if we took it it was on us and good warranty. Of course called Chrysler customer service directly they said to get the truck out of there and we were good to move it! Then picked up truck showed paper work as to the truck was just fine 4 weeks ago all oil and other fluids where great!! Shut them up real fast! Truck is now at different dealership and have a awesome experience with the so far!! Bottom line DO NOT take your cars there unless you want the work done halfway or if you up to being treated like a child! I have never been treated this badly! We have other that have witnessed parts of the treatment threw this ordeal that informed us that we did have the right to remove the truck and take it elsewhere. If I was even to treat a customer this way I would be removed on the spot form my employer!! You know it's bad when Chrysler Customer Service also told us to remove the truck and we should never return there and gave us dealerships they recommend!! Again do not go here for service unless you like crappy service half the work done and to be treated like infantile children who know nothing!!! More
Lying Salesman I went into Sterling Heights Dodge to purchase a used car in December 2014. I already had secured financing from my bank. I wanted used because our minivan's lease was due in March 2015 and I wanted to lease another minivan. I encountered Chuck Prohaska who talked me into a lease car. He assured me it would be no problem to lease again in March. The lease payment was also cheaper than a used car so I went ahead and leased. Fast forward three months and our minivan was up. I went back to Chuck to lease a new minivan. He came back and told me that I was approved and we agreed on a price. Everything was great until he came back and said I could not lease until I pay off my mileage. I have leased before and had over mileage. I have always received a bill after the bank sold the car. I told him I could not do this now and was told I would have to look at a used car. I had never heard of such a thing! I called around to other dealerships. I called Parkway and they told me that they never bill you up front for mileage and that I should be able to lease again. I had Parkway look up my Ally approval since now I would lease from Parkway since they are not asking for the mileage payment upfront. Parkway told me that I was not approved by Ally for a lease car. Ally only approved me for a used car. Chuck Prohaska lied to me to try to get me to buy a used car from Sterling Heights Dodge. If he would have been upfront with me from the start I would have purchased a used car from Sterling Dodge. Instead, Parkway got my business. I would stay away from this dealership all together! More
Hello after a horrific experience at Southfield Chrysler/dodge last year at this time where a rep actually raised his voice to me and said what do you want from me and I had been sitting there over Chrysler/dodge last year at this time where a rep actually raised his voice to me and said what do you want from me and I had been sitting there over 6 hours waiting he acted like I was a bother to him anyway that being said I vowed to never to buy from Chrysler again my sister works for Chrysler and had just bought a truck from Vandyke dodge with a good experience, at her prompting I decided to give her salesman a try, Patrick Blake greeted me with great enthusiasm and was very knowledgeable I felt like he actually wanted my business he was patient and helpful especially in my case my credit is less than perfect and between him and Mark in financing who saved the day my overall experience was wonderful the time it took to close, the staff, the selection of trucks, the cleanness of the dealership etc... was just wonderful, as a employee of Costco Wholesale we strive and succeed at customer service to a point I haven't been able to find at any other business except NOW FROM STERLING VANDYKE DOGE AND PATRICK BLAKE I normally would not take the time to write this but my experience was so good I wanted make sure Patrick Blake and the dealership got recognized for a outstanding experience More

I purchased a used T&C, very good pricing, but slick used car salesman (Marty). I am leary any way, however, there was minor damage on the front bumper and part of the deal is that the damage would get used car salesman (Marty). However, 3 months later, upon washing the car (for the 2nd time), the paint on the repair area started flaking off. The body shop tried not to stand by their work. After intervention from a higher manager, they agreed to give a loaner out and repair the shotty work. I dropped the car off at 8:30am. By 3 pm, my wife, not me, received a call that it was done. Being in the car repair world for 6 years, there is no way the work was done correctly this time either. I would recommend this dealer based on the good overall pricing, but used sales and body shop are not good to work with. More
